Thumbs up New to forum... got some wheel concerns!

Hello guys, new to the forum happy to be part of it, anything i can help with Im here.

This is the third Infiniti I owned, all of them had been Sedan second gen. Honestly i love Infinitis that why i keep coming back to it. My father has an auction license so its easy for me to buy them and sell them when someone pays enough lol. Anyway, I know a lot about body work, conversions, installations, and even prep, so im here for you guys.

I recently bought a 2008 G35x and I want to install a new set of wheels, im having concerns because i remember on my first infiniti i bought i changed the tires and they were a little different size from the original and it turned my warning light on all the time. So i want to know if any of you has a AWD if the size of the rim on the front has to be exactly on the rear? can I use more offset in rear than front? would it affect my transmission since it is awd? I am trying to go with 20's, thank you in advance!!!

Welcome to the forums.

I'm moving this to the Wheels and Tires forum because your question is common and has been answered many times there.

Welcome to the site, here you go~
FWIW Here's the best tire combos I'd recommend for 18s/19s/20s, then pick proper wheel widths/offsets to get them to fit~
18s
235/45 & 265/40 (0.07%)
245/45 & 275/40 -0.07%
255/45 & 285/40 -0.22%

19s
225/45 & 255/40 0.06%
235/40 & 265/35 -0.37%
235/40 & 275/35 0.67%
245/40 & 275/35 -0.52%
245/40 & 285/35 0.51%

20s
235/35 & 275/30 0.07%
245/35 & 285/30 -0.07%

This calculator should be used when trying new setups~

Keep in mind the variances with a minus sign have smaller rear diameters, this isn't as good since the rears wear faster, this will cause the variance to increase over time. Not a big deal when you're starting at zero or close, but if you're already almost at 1% variance this needs to be considered.
