BC Forged wheels?

The search function on this forum is killing me. Help? I think I'd rather have closed than open tuner lugs...is that possible on our car? Wheel company recommended this open lug:
Mackin Industries » Muteki SR48
I remember Rochester said he had Gorilla Lugs...I dunno. Feel lost in the sea between $20 for a set of 20 lugs and $780 for titanium lugs. Would like to stay at 100 or less and I've read closed is better since the stud won't rust. Myth or truth?

As long as you're getting enough turns on the studs and you're able to torque to spec, the height doesn't really matter I would think.
I have the Muteki SR48s, and like them because they're a spline design that's steel, and not aluminum. Open or closed is your preference - if you plan on running extended studs and/or spacers then you would need the open.

Update. Wheels arrived. Beautiful. Quite light. Definitely under 20lbs each. I don't think we have a scale but I do have 20lb weights so...I'm pretty sure they are very light for 18x9 and 18x10.5.
Wheels have a clear coat with explicit instructions to never use acid or aluminum cleaner on the wheels. It feels as though the entire rim is clear coated rather than just the face of the rim.
Interestingly the warranty card is per wheel and is solid metal. Also of note, it says there will be an additional charge for warranty work if you lose this card. Finally the warranty card's English is broken in nature...they clearly did not pay an English speaking person to write this information.

When I become unbroke from my divorce, tien basis coilovers, 700 in camber arms etc and a pro install. Probably in a year or more though.
