How "strong" and resistant to bends are our OEM Enkei wheels?

How "strong" and resistant to bends are our OEM Enkei wheels?

I have the 2008-2010 18" coupe Enkei wheels. I LOVE the wheels on my car, and so, I am nervous these crappy roads in Cleveland is going to bend them.

I am extremely careful, more so then I really should be. I drive way out of my way to work everyday to drive on a somewhat smoother road, though it is not that great. No matter how careful I am, these roads in the Cleveland area are the absolute worst. I am afraid one day that my wheels will get bent.

How strong and resistant to getting bent are our OEM Enkei wheels? Again, mine is specifically 2008-2010 coupe 18" OEM Enkei wheels

If you're running 20 inch rims, maybe you have a concern. Stock 18s or 17s, not an issue.

No wheel is going to be 100% resistant but as far as stock wheels go, yours will hold up very well to abuse...more so than some popular aftermarket choices.

The stock 18s / 19s are relatively resilient. They will prove moreso on your stock Journey suspension than if you had a modded firmer suspension or the Sport suspension.

Treat the road like a slalom course. Roads in chicago and suburbs are just as bad. I'll typically be all over the place in my lane. It's also force of habit to come to a crawl at most railroad crossings.

The roads here in NJ are horrible as well and I'm riding on 20s and low profile tires and swerve around as many potholes as I can but still drive safe and with caution.

You should be fine with the stock wheels but just continue to drive carefully as you are now and you shouldn't really have an issue.

Thank you all for the comments.

I try to drive as careful as I can, I drive around potholes I see in advance, and drive annoingly slow over railroad tracks and the such. But, sometimes they just jump out at you and I dont notice until after I ran over it

Thanks for the confidence that these are pretty sturdy wheels
