I have Michelin PSS and I don't hear the tire noise (maybe because my exhaust covers the noise up haha) they are really good tires and they drive well in the rain. sometimes i take off from a light and no chirps the car just goes

It's funny how subjective tire noise is. I guess for those with louder exhausts, that would over power the tire noise. I only have a catback Q300. It's marginally louder than stock. Just enough to let you know when you're on the throttle.
On asphalt, the pss isn't bad at all, it's concrete surfaces that does it in for me.
Agreed, $900 installed is a great price for these, esp in 19".

I loved my Bridgestone S-04 Pole Positions mainly because of how quiet they were. They're the #3 rated Max performance summer tire, per tirerack, behind the two Michelins for about half the cost.

I had the s04's on my list too. Read reports they get louder or as loud as the re050a's when worn.
We'll see how the PSS's are when they get 5, 10, 15K miles on them. If they become just as loud as the re050a's, then I may try the s04's next time.
That's the thing with summer tires, they don't last long. So while a typical a/s tire may get 40-50K, not so with these. With motorcycle tires, I was lucky to get 1/2 a season out of a set.

Well I've only put about 30 miles on the PSS but they are worlds better than the BFGs. Much quieter and the braking is a lot less harsh. The braking with the BFGs was awful. We'll see how they do with more miles but for now it drives like a different car. I only drive about 8K miles a year and run snows in the winter so I should be good for awhile.

Mich Super Sports .....one of the highest ratings of any performance tire....
Super smooth and Zero tire noise, IMOP....
I had some crap brand on the car when I purchased it. Put these on immediately and it changed the feel of the car instantly.
I paid 934 out the door 4 brand new ones from Discount Tire....they beat any price they say. I just find the cheapest price like at Tire Rack and then they beat it everytime...

PSS's are great tires. Got about 13,000 out of mine on my M4, received a $131 credit when replacing them since they are under warranty for 15,000 miles (30,000 if all 4 tires are same size). Treadwear is 300, slightly higher than other comparable Michelin and Bridgestone tires.
