Opinion 19" or 20" Rims on Swifts?

Hi I'm looking to get some concave style rims for my G37xS sedan, quick question I'm running on Swifts so a decent drop but not canned.

Should I go with 19"s 245/40/19
or 20"s 245/30/20?

Wheel gap wise wondering which will look best.

Thanks.

I think the 19 with 40 side wall will look best

For the record, the 20in tire choice would be 245/35 not 245/30...just sayin.
Overall, I'd go with 19s as you'll be open to more options and hopefully not drawn to the vossen/niche/rovos/rohana training bra party

Whichever you decide try to go with a wider wheel, like a 9.5" if you want more concavity. You can still run a 245 on a 9.5 safely.

I think if I were you I'd run 19s w/ the Swifts, plus they should weigh a little less and not ride as harsh as 20s..

Thanks I will be going with 9.5" regardless of 19" or 20" because I'm looking for the maximum concave look I can safely get away with. Just now debating about five spoke or multispoke. Lol

Swifts with 19's... Fronts are 9" with 20mm spacers, rears are 10". Personally, I'm glad I went with them. I really wanted 20's, but I live in Minnesota, where 20's don't handle the potholes very well.

For this car, I think 19's are the better choice regarding comfort and weight. At least, that was my thinking when buying wheels. But really, there is no wrong answer. The G Sedan can handle the look of 20's like a champ, if that's what you decide.

The OEM 18" sport rims only look good dropped and spaced out for a flush fitment. And the OEM 17" just never look good, no matter what. They just don't.

I'm rockin 20's they look good but the ride is a little rough. These rims came with the car so I cant complain. If I was buying them, I would go with 19's for comfort. More rubber to absorb the road.

If you want concave, might even consider some nice 18s, here's Soundmikes on 18x9.5 +38 on 255/45/18 tires. I think my next set is going to be 18s, I'm looking forward to the better ride, tires & wheels are cheaper, lighter, and they look pretty sweet when set up like this~

And here's some nice concave 18s Work Emotion CR Ultimate

I think the 18" Work look pretty good, but too much a Tuner look for the Sedan I'm thinking, or maybe I'm just too old ...lol.

I get that you're looking at an Evo and a STi as examples... but I'd argue the reason 18's suit those cars is because they're a hopped up Lancer and Impreza. These are little cars, Newt. The thing that makes smaller wheels feel larger is the spoke design, and whether or not the spokes extend to the outer edge or the inner lip.

What's everyone opinion on these wheels, might get them ... but they're 18x7.5 same as 18 oem sports wheels I believe. Offset is 45 I think.

Dunno, still think when dropped with the proper offset they look fine~

Just wanted to throw that option out there, and like I said, there's quite a few pros to doing that.
