The point being: 19" deep-lip Vossens will work with the Akebono BBK, but only if you have a shorty valve stem.
Thanks for this great info, I'll keep that in mine if I go with Vossens.

May need to research this too, thanks.

On my short list right now are TSW Bathurst, VMR V804, and Konig Interform. All flow formed and incredibly lightweight.

I like the look of these brand new Konigs, the Rennform, also flow formed and lightweight

I have 20's Inch CVT's for summer. Which yes are quite heavy, but I like the look haha.

However, I went with a different setup for winter, I'm only an inch or so lowered during winter with some Niche Targas to give you an idea of how they look. They definitely aren't light though.

Although, I'd echo the comment about being cautious about BBKs fitting. I know that both Vossen and Niche were very helpful when it came to that. Niche recommended I go with 19x8.5 with +25 offset to ensure BBKs cleared. (Not installed yet, currently sitting in my spare room).

My 19" Vossens have barely 2mm clearance with the front calipers. It works, but still... I use 3mm spacers up front so that I don't freak out. Also,
standard length valve stems in the 19" don't clear the front calipers, spacer or no spacer. So Vossen provides a valve stem adapter with a shorter length stem.

Wait, apparently I said this already right here in this thread, like a year ago. Hahaha... wow.

Haha! Good call. I'm very curious to see how tight it'll be for my winter set. Summer I'm not too worried about.

I did pre-emptively ask Niche what sizing they'd recommend to go with BBK's, so we'll see how accurate they are.

In the winter, I use my staggered duckfeet. By comparison, the 18" sport rims have lots more clearance than my 19" Vossens. And with the neg camber and the drop, I also use 15mm spacer adapters in the winter.

So many considerations configuring two sets of wheels and tires, swapped twice a year. You would think something like rims would be plug-n-play, but once you start modding the car, even wheel issues become a project.
