Weight of the stock 18x7.5 duckfeet wheels and the weight of the tires?

I found all over the place the weight of the 19" coupe wheels and the appropriate tires, but I cannot find the weight of the stock 18x7.5 duckfeet anywhere, nor the weight of the appropiate tires for the 18x7.5.

The 18x7.5" G-Sedan sport rims from 2010-2013 were 24 pounds. The 18x8.5" staggered rears wheels on the RWD Sport Sedan were 25 pounds.

The OEM Bridgestone RE050A 225/50-18 was 27 pounds. But that's the front tire on the RWD Sport... IDK what the all-season tire on the AWD Sedan weighed.

Not all tires weigh the same. One of the things that draw people to the Micheline PSS is the weight of the tire, which is a full 3 pounds lighter than the same size Bridgestone RE050A.

Full comparison, OEM to current state:

18x7.5 Duckfeet at 24 lbs + 225/50ZR18 Bridgestone RE050A at 27 lbs = 51 lbs
18x8.5 Duckfeet at 25 lbs + 245/45ZR18 Bridgestone RE050A at 28 lbs = 53 lbs

19x8.5 Vossen CVT at 27.5 lbs + 245/40ZR19 Michelin PSS at 25 lbs = 52.5 lbs
19x10.0 Vossen CVT at 28.5 lbs + 275/35ZR19 Michelin PSS at 27 lbs = 55.5 lbs

So... a little more weight at each corner, certainly. But hardly a boat-anchor.

Assuming this: Dunlop SP Sport Maxx A1-A A/S

...that's a 28 pound tire at 245/45R18, which would be 52 pounds total, not 46.7.

So... yeah.

So just by changing tires, one loses the equivalent of a ~1/3rd of a gallon of milk in terms of weight at each wheel. I can't imagine this amount of unsprung weight being *that* significant in the whole scheme of things. Maybe amount to a few tenths in the 1/4?

Why don't we weigh rotors? They're as heavy if not more so than a wheel or tire.

Rotors don't impact the rotational mass as much, since they are much smaller in diameter (12-14") compared to a tire (25-26+ inches)

Any serious drag car have tiny brakes for this reason:

That seems pretty accurate. I weighed mine with Primewell Valera tires (surprisingly decent in dry & wet) and got 52 front and 54 in the rear. These tires must weigh just about the same as stock once you consider wheel weights, valve stems, etc.

That makes sense. I keep eyeing up 2pc. rotors to help with heat, but have not had any issues yet. (knocks on wood)
