38 front offset? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ yes, no, maybe...?

Don't beat me you too bad guys... If nothing else point me to the right thread. I have a real good deal on a set of Vossen CV1s. Problem is that the fronts are 20x9 with a 38 offset. My question is if I'm asking for an headache dealing with the offset? Ive done research here but my findings aren't exactly unanimous. Don't want to play the spacer game but I'm not oppose to it. Some have absolutely forbidden coming in contact with that 38. Some say Ill be find. Once Ive spent my money, Im all in...

I have a S coupe btw.

Your OEM front wheels are 8.5 +43 so your 9" +38 will be 6mm further out for the wider wheel and another 5mm out for the offset for a net 11mm outward extension, if you go w/ wider tires, like a 245/40/19 you should be pretty flush.

But that depends on how low you go. Stock height should be fine.

How flush you will be depends on the below
1 how low will you go
2 what size tires will you run
3 what camber do you plan on setting
4 offset and rim width

Vibrating was next to none, only on rare occasions. If i were you take to a shop where they speacialize in wheels. You can ask as many questions or look and save links / pics of sets you like but at the end of the day each personal prefrence is different. But 9 width rim with an offset of 38 is still sunken try a 9.5 et 35 by the very least.

Those are stock sport wheels and 20mm spacers if that helps.
