If you want the medium, or...best of both worlds, you need to go to an 18 inch wheel and some Michelin high performance all-seasons. Stick with a square setup such as 225mm all around because a 245mm wide tire or wider will create more contact patch, resulting in more ground grip and traction, resulting in more tramlining.

Obviously you havent ridden in my boys 350Z with 275mm up front and 295mm out back.....Tramlining is an understatement, and the steering wheel is extremely heavy, but goddamn does that car handle on rails.

This is normal for low profile tires the side walls on 19" tires have no play. Unlike higher profile tires it won't flex. I use to have a car that had 20" on it my drive from Vegas to LA was always interesting keeps me awake.

All of this information has addressed my ongoing concern. For this past year, I've always thought my car was slightly out of alignment. The shop keeps telling me it's within specs and never anything about tramlining. Thank you all!

A slight amount of negative, or even just neutral, toe can cause a very aggressive propensity for the car to tramline. If your wife still complains, get an alignment and ask for the toe to be on the more positive side of the specified range of adjustment.
