I wouldn't 100% agree to rule out cast wheels. Enkei makes great lightweight cast wheels although their designs are not as nice, IMO. Unless OP is going to log some crazy track time, regular cast wheels will work just fine. Just kind of a pet peeve when people talk about forged wheels like bombproof while cast wheels will fall off the car.

I didn't say cast wheels are junk. OP asked for top build quality and light weight. Forged wheels fit that bill better than cast ones every day of the week including Sundays. I don't know if he's tracking the car or not, that's not what he asked about. Stock wheels will work just fine. But that's not what he asked about.

Just for reference, all the G37 OEM wheels are cast. This suggests that a cast wheel will be good for the majority of people out there and Infiniti/Nissan believed they would last reasonably well. Cast wheels aren't bad, there are cheaper brands that use lower grade materials and less proven casting processes that should be avoided. Cast wheels can be great, they're certainly not the best though.

Forged wheels are better in terms of weight and strength. There are a few factory forged choices on the G and Zs over the years: the 19" Rays G35 wheels and 19" Nismo 370z wheels come to mind.

Check out www.Carid.com Browse through the wheel section of the site. They literally have thousands of rims to look at. This will give you a good idea where to start in terms of style and what appeals to YOU. Not a bunch of us that just want to throw out our .02 cents, know what I mean? The site has many different brands and from every price range. $55.00/ rim to $2500/ rim.

OP I'd recommend exploring what VMR or Avante Garde has to offer before settling for vossen, unless you place a good deal of value on aesthetics (reasonably so)

Need4Speed is an active vendor here on the forum, with fair pricing and good service. GetYourWheels.com seems to be a new and well-reviewed retailer for wheels, with online pricing... which is always good info. CarId.com is also a good resource for prices.

VOSSEN has a number of very attractive designs. Prices are a little high, but not outrageous. Weights are so-so, without being total boat-anchors. Quality seems on par with cast rims from larger manufacturers, although they have a stellar online reputation for customer service. They're marketing is pretty impressive, with more than enough media for you to gawk at and help you make a decision.
