The only remaining issue is waiting on the funds, which should be here in the next couple weeks. And the only remaining question is: can I use my OEM lug nuts, or do I need a set? Anybody know that answer?
Even if you *can* use your OEM lugnuts, now's a good time to upgrade, and add a little something to the wheels. Maybe some shorties?

The better time would be after I'm done, and the wheels are on the car.

I'm really into titanium for some reason. It's like this magical metal. So I'm thinking something like this:

Well I guess it's time to crack open the "Find Rochester some lug nuts " thread.
Those in that pic above look nice IMO.

Those in that pic above look nice IMO, although I prefer the closed end version. The gorilla lock system is pretty decent, would look good in satin black w/ your wheels too, that's what I'm currently using FWIW.

Rochesters' future lugnuts
Hmm. That certainly has possibilities. Thanks, Brad. Either way, plenty of time for this later... assuming the OEM lug nuts can be reused with the Vossens. Figure someone will answer that one soon enough.

What exactly is keeping the lock groves from getting all scratched to hell? Seems that would happen right away.

The socket might be coated in nylon on either the inside or outside. That's generally how you prevent damage to the socket/lugs.

I don't think they'll work with the Vossens. The OEM lugs are somewhat flat and not domed on the bottom how they need to be.

Good call, Bota.

Need4Speed just told me "No" on the OEM lug nuts. So I'm buying a set from them on the cheap, and will address replacements at a later date, after the wheels go on the car.

The OEM lugs are much fatter as well. The lugs I had to buy for my Vossens were more elongated and they also have a rounded conical shape for the seat.

The Vossen lug holes are pretty deep. No point in buying some fancy show lugs because you wouldn't be able to see them anyhow. You only "see" my chrome lugs when they are removed from the rims.

Below is a link to a side view of my car. You really can't see the lugs unless your really looking for them.

These gorilla nuts here look fine... flat capped, and anodized in a titanium finish.

if vossen wheels are really that deep, get some extended lug nuts. If you don't mind then I would get this shape instead.

I have had both designs and that one you chose loses the color a lot faster from screwing and unscrewing than this design

Never realized there were so many lug nut options. These VOLK Racing lug nuts are pretty interesting, too. Really, really interesting.
