These forged VOLKS are very, very nice; particularly in that hyper-silver finish... but only available in 18"x8.0", and who knows about clearance.

Enkie RSM9 will clear the BBK in 19" trim, and while I like them, they're also kind of plain. And it looks like the silver is no longer available anywhere, just Piano Black.

I like the clean look of the new Stance 6IX... but it's also not special, particularly in matte silver.

And there's the TSW Interlagos. According to CARID.com the 18" will clear the BBK. They're radial forged (forged-ish) and super light. However, if you dig for photos of the Interlagos, they look much better in this picture here than they actually do on cars. The surface isn't just machined, it's "mirrored", and to be honest, it's a bit much too chrome-like.

What! Those are so "Gangsta" LOL.

I figured a little levity would be a good thing.

Lol! Rochester bro you're having similar issues to what I was. I'm waiting on my Concept Ones CS 5.0 to arrive now that a friend sold me.

these are nice, sort of along the lines of those TSW's:

Nutek Bavaria BC10:

no clue if they'll clear BBK though. Looks like they're discontinuing them, can only find on vendor sites not the manufacturer

I believe Nutek has completely discontinued their cast line and just has the forged lineup. Not good news for me if I ever just need 1 rim replaced

John, I remember you were fond of these wheels a while back~
ACE CONVEX WHEEL - D704 WHEELS for BMW WHEEL, NISSAN Z INIFINITE G RIMS, MERCEDES E S C Class WHEELS, CONCAVE WHEELS, custom wheels, stagger wheels, Range Rover
And these SSRs are lightweight and would look bad as$ on your white G IMO, and you wouldn't need new tires
Plus plenty of offsets for pretty much any fit you'd want (looks like a pretty open barrel for BBK clearance too).

Those ACE convex wheels look pretty clean. Very similar to the Vossen wheels.

Reverse mount? Never heard about that until this morning, with some random research.

There are two options here over the next couple months.

1. Have everything delivered as a package: wheels, TPMS, tires; balanced and ready for me to put on the car with the floor jack and torque wrench.

2. Have everything delivered as component parts, and take it to a shop for assembly (LOL at assembly). After which, I'm still putting the rims on the car myself with the floor jack and torque wrench.

Hmm. Both options have appeal for different reasons.

Good call, Brad! You're right, I remember thinking that at the time someone posted a thread with those rims. And yes, they are very, very attractive. Thank you for reminding me about them.

Here's where my head is today: if the Vossen CVT works after Diego test-fits the 19" with this short valve stem/TPMS on his G37S, then that's what I'm going to do. The wheels weigh a full 2 pounds more than my duckfeet... but then, PSS weigh about the same less than the Bridgestones, so the weight is a wash.

If, however, the Vossens are not an option, then I'm going to prioritize weight loss over looks. Not sure what that means in terms of which wheel to go with. I suspect the Enkie RSM9 is at the top of that list, although I may go up-price with a forged rim, too.

First things first, which is VOSSEN test-fitting their new 19" CVT on Diego's car. Because you have to admit, getting this shipped to your door, and seeing this beautiful thing here in the box... that would be very nice. I really want this, man.

Coming as no surprise what-so-ever, Robert_K is recommending Forgestar rims.

[edit] whoops! I confused Forgestar with Forgeline. My bad, Robert.

A rotary-forged barrel on a pressure cast aluminum rim (just like TSW) makes for a strong(ish) and lightweight(ish) wheel. That, and this F14 model (shown here) has some really good design appeal.

These are pretty light, in the 20lb range and are rotary forged, they also have several 18" widths and many offsets. Hopefully your test fit on your CVTs works out though as I know you've really got your mind set on those

As a matter of perspective, here's a picture of my front wheel, taken two years ago. Granted, the stance looks really odd because of my cracked and horribly uneven garage floor... but that aside, this is OEM 18" Sport rim on the G37S Sedan.

We've been calling them Duckfeet.

John, if you have that photoshop w/ the blacked-out webs that would be cool to see again. With the webs blacked out it's got a very similar look to those Ace wheels.
