Wheel offset?
Hi everyone,
I just purchased a set of wheel for my coupe 20x9 +18 and 20x10.5 + 20 and planning on running 225/35 and 255/35. Do you think i will have any rubbing with both front and rear?
Thanks

I was told that for G's the offsets need to be +36 to +48, the exception being the all wheel drives. I think my offsets are +43 on my sedan (I'm not sure its been a while). I don't have staggered rims though. My rims are 20x9. Contact a reputible rim shop and they should be able to guide you through it. I used Specialty Automotive Treatments in Fort Lauderdale and they work with mainly high end Sports / Luxury cars.
Here is the Phone number: (954) 462-3334
Ask for Javier, He's pretty knowledgable and there isn't a fee for info.
On second thought, If there is rubbing buy spacers to add up the offsets since you already purchased the rims and tires.

Sedan fitment is more conservative, something that's flush on a sedan would be about 15mm (give or take) inside the fenders on a coupe. That said your aggressive offsets on wider rims will be a bit challenging to get inside the fenders. Your stretched tire sizes sound about right and with a deeper drop and some excess camber you may get them inside the fenders. Not sure what look you're after, might want to check this gigantic thread and see if there's some guys w/ similar setups.

I'm running 20X9 +22 with 245/35/20 all the way around on my 08 coupe with Stance coilovers. Only issues I had was the screw/bolt (can't remember) where the rear bumper connects in the wheel well. I did just purchase camber arms though, because my alignment lasted 20k miles, but fronts had a ton of life in them just horrible toe wear.

I am about to order tires and just wanted to make sure if 255/35/20 tires will work for my rears 20x10.5 +20 or should i run 255/30/20. I dont know what issues will I confront if I run 35 sidewalls instead of 30. I searched but cant find anything on forum. Can someone please enlighten me some details ? Thank you.

You'll get the following~
You'll be about 1% off w/ the 35 series and almost 3% off w/ the 30 sidewalls, so the 255/35/20s are a much better choice.

Just gotta use the calculator, the ideal diameter baseline would be 245/35/20, so use that as your baseline and plug the 255 sizes in line two
