I saw a wide body G37 sedan around here somewhere a couple of days ago. It was red and looks really sweet, except for some odd looking chrome grille they slapped on it.

This is a simple fix. I'm not sure why it's dragged on and on. There are several people that are running GTR wheels on their sedans. Sure, you can run fronts on all 4 corners in order to be at 20x9.5 +45. If that's not an option, the key is to run a rear tire of 245/35/20. Yes, it'll be slightly stretched, but you wont rub at -3.5 camber. The pics below are of someone doing just that, AND he's running rears on all 4 corners. Imagine that!

Wow, looks good to me. I wonder how it looks from behind.. Someone on here is running 275/30/20 with no rubbing, so I was going to try that with the addition of coilovers. I like the look even better in white. Thanks!!

I actually have a previous gen (07-09) sport I'm swapping from, so it's a bit different than the 10+ journey to sport swap.

I haven't done it yet - the parts are all sitting in my garage. Took me a few weeks to get everything done and assembled (I DIY'd the evil iron man, sti-r, painted housings, switchbacks, painted grille and fog rings.) I'm planning on doing it this Saturday.

I don't really see the difference between the sport sills and the non-sport. I have the non-sport sills(sport is 10+, all were the same 07-09) with the mudflaps, and I think they mesh up well enough.

I didn't know that was a 2010+ thing. That's interesting. Are you sure? That is a typical Nissan move, adding sport sills in a mid-model refresh.

The difference is real, but to your point it really is very minimal. I think Infiniti should have done something more dramatic here.

No swap, hit and run. Some lovely person smashed into the front end of my car in a parking lot at the mall and left. No person, no note, just a smashed front end. Imagine that... Luckily there was no frame damage, just cosmetic. It sucked that the person got my headlight too because that's one expensive piece. Paid my deductible and Geico (love them) covered the rest. Took it to a shop of my choice and had them put the sport front bumper on instead. To my surprise the sport bumper was actually cheaper, only by a small amount, but cheaper.

What I didn't realize at the time was my Journey bumper actually had a skirt that comes with the sport appearance package. Had I known that it wasn't just the bumper I would of had them slap a skirt on the sport bumper too. Oh well..

Looks so good.

I've been looking at this to be my next setup. Either this or TE37s. Definitely good insight on how to make these wheels work.

Now im debating if i should swap out my H&R springs, for Swift. Is the height of tire the main rub issue, or is the height of suspension? Im confused.. because if i can pull these GTR wheels off with a smaller profile tire and Swift springs, im there.
