wheel/tire help

I'm going to need tires soon, so I'm considering a move to aftermarket wheels. I've read through a bunch of wheel/offset/tire threads and I get the basics, but I still have a difficult time understanding fitment. I think I want to do a square setup with 18s (maybe 19s) with a wider wheel/tire. I definitely want to move the wheels outward, but I'm not looking for a perfectly flush fit and I don't really want to roll fenders or make modifications to make something fit.

What the widest wheel you can fit on the front/rear of a sedan with sports brakes? Suspension is still stock at this point, but I will do something in the future (probably Swifts/Konis).

Some sizes I've been looking at 18x8.5 +30 w/245/45 and 18x9 +35 w/265/40/18

Here's a nice square 18" setup for reference~you might shoot MACS a private message for the exact tire size he's running.

If you have tire questions in the future shoot over to the Brake, Tire, & Suspension section, thanks!
