2010 G37 - Whirring noise/rolling noise
I've been noticing a whirring noise/rolling noise on my driver side front. It seems like it's coming from the tire/suspension.
So I went to got my alignment, re-balanced my tires as well as rotate from back/front.
The noise has slimmed down but not quite enough like how I remember and maybe I am just over sensitive but has anyone experience these noises?
Kinda hard to describe the exact noise - but it sound almost like if there was a bubble in the tire and faster you drive the noise speeds up until engine noise covers the other noise.
I don't think it's the wheel barring since the car is too new.
If anyone has any thoughts and recommendations, I would appreicate very much.
Thanks.

If the noise gets progressively louder as you drive faster, it could be a wheel bearing.
When you drive to the point where you can hear the noise, you direct the car side to side and try and listen to see which direction the noise diminishes. For example, when you swerve to the right, the weight of the vehicle will be transferred to the left wheels and alleviate the pressure on the right wheels, thus if it is a bearing on the right side, the noise would be diminished.

- progressively louder as you speed up?
- when swerving the noise goes away at certain directions?

It sounds like your tires. That is, noticeable toe-wear. If you haven't aligned in a long time prior to this recent one, good chance all four have the issue.
Toe wear is one of those things where once you have it, it'll hardly correct itself even if you get an alignment and re-balance after the damage has been done.

I get my car aligned pretty often due to Sears alignment plan, $100 for one year, you can get the alignment done as many as you want. However, I would not recommend you taking to Sears anything other than Alignment since they used
Short wheel socket thus creating a light scratches around the rim in all 5 holes because of all the movement with the air gun when they were taking/putting the tires back, when they were balancing my tires.
Anyways, I asked my dealer service advisor to see if Warranty would cover it, if it is my wheel bearing, and they told me that they would diagnose the problem but I had to pay 30mins of work which was $69. Luckily, they said come for next oil change and they will check it out for me for free. So hopefully they will figure something out because the noise is driving me crazy when I'm between 20-50mph.
