No I bought the car from a Lexus dealer. They installed some Goodyear all season tires on them. At this point the dealer will pay for the repairs to the bent wheel. The car shakes mostly around 45 mph. It was shaking more during braking but that was reduced when we changed the front brakes.

That's good the dealership is going to follow through on paying for the repair.

Didn't you state in the original post that the dealer would help you out with a loaner car if you paid for the repairs?

Sorry I meant to say the dealer will NOT pay for the repairs.

Yes, so I think the best option is to drop the car at dealer, take the wheels out, get the loaner and drop them off for repair.

umm...i still think if the wheels were bent when you bought the car, then you should go back and raise hell to get them to fix them.

I asked them the first time to fix it, but they said that at this point they have spent all the money in replacing the brakes, new tires, detail and oil change so they are capped out . I will go there again to see if they will take the car back...

now that i think about it, maybe i should stop by tirediscounters and get a second opinion on how bad the damage is to each wheel and cost of repair....

that's their mistake, not yours. they should take responsibility. unless you went in there and specifically asked for new tires and brakes, it's their fault for misdiagnosing the issue.

Did it come with the typical 90 day limited warranty? i figure from a Lexus dealer, it should have at least that.

yes, a 3 month, 3000 mile basic warranty. don't think it covers bent wheels tho.

I would not suggest going to discount tires to get them to examine your wheels. Go to a professional wheel shop.
