20 inch black wheels on a 2013 G37 Coupe
Hey everyone....I just got a new white G coupe, and I want to put 20 inch flat black wheels. I have a couple questions before i do it.
-Do the 20s slow you down and waste more gas?
-can you put an all season tire on there, or can only a high performance tire fit?
-any rubbing issues?
I could always do 19s but want BIGGER!
Thanks

1) Yes 20s do slow you down , there usually heavy.
2) all season tires would work, I'm sure some tire company makes all season 20 inch tires
3)no rubbing issues with stock suspension , and no rubbing issues with lowering springs or coilovers depending how low you go

I'm on a sedan but as far as your concerns~
-Do the 20s slow you down and waste more gas? A little bit, but IME, not much. I still can get about 29 hwy w/ my 20s and I've got pretty big tires out back (295/30/20)
-can you put an all season tire on there, or can only a high performance tire fit? I have Toyo Proxes Plus 4 All Seasons on mine, great tire, nice treadwear & speed rating and also great prices on our site vendor Treadepot, here's a couple links, one for a review of the tires and another for the Treadepot link, ask for Andrew & mention myG37 for an even better price Plenty of All-Seasons in 20" size to choose from BTW.

-any rubbing issues?
Unless you go crazy wide, or a diameter that's too tall you'll have no issues. Keep in mind that you really want to be within +/- 3% of your OEM diameter. Use this calculator to determine what's best~

FWIW 245/35/20 is a good starting size as these are right on OEM diameter specs, then if you want to go wider just use the calculator.
Those Rohanna wheels look nice. I'm really happy w/ my Nutek Bavaria flat black 5 spokes, got them from GOTO racing.
Here's the Nutek low pressure cast line (about the same price range as the Rohannas) if you're interested~Most of the wheels are available in flat black & plenty of offsets.

Your alignment settings won't change w/ new wheels, only when you lower (or raise) the suspension, or alter something else w/ the suspension.
