OP, Bumping. I am curious how the spacers have held up through the N.E winter been, about a year now. I may go this route prior to getting my rim of choice. Your car is executed very nicely btw..

Since you're here in MA and has to deal with the changing weather conditions in NE, I can tell you that so far so good.

I've have not experienced any issues regarding the spacers and this is my 2nd Winter season with them installed.

I actually find that the Swifts handle a bit harsher in the cold weather temperatures...such as over uneven pavement or potholes!
This could also be due to the stiffer rear sway set up.

Spacers scare me even for a dd. I have seen many track day nightmares or poorly manufactured spacers snapping etc..

That makes sense with the springs being stiff due to the cold. Expansion and contraction of hot and cold. On my old car I snapped my eibach spring hitting a pothole and didn't realize it until it was in for an alignment. Not a good situation..

If you plan on putting the spacers on yourself i would recommend buying a torque wrench. I have all of my spacers and lug nuts set to factory torque, 80 pound feet, and have had no problems since. I tend to check them to see if they have come loose when I'm working on my car. If anything its peace of mind.

I recently installed swift springs with 15mm and 20mm b2 auto designs spacers, and I love this setup! It rides, handles, and looks so nice.

:^ Very clean. Something about monochromatic that gets me.. Tires could use a shine though . I do like the spacer look and it is cost effective for the time being, I just can't get myself over the hump with them though..

Anyways, I want to know if anyone out there uses 10mm spacers. I'm looking into just pushing the wheel out a tad bit. Also know that I don't plan on buying aftermarket wheels any where in the near future, I want to put my money into some power upgrades. So, b2d sells a v1 10mm spacer but the bolts supplied aren't installed. I was thinking with the spacer only being 10mm can I just omit using the included bolts bc there will/should be enough stock bolts to "securely" keep the wheel on??

Anyone with pics sporting 10mm spacers? Is this even worth it? Should I just go with 15mm? Thanks everyone.

No, do not add a studless spacer. It is very unsafe. Either get the recommended size with studs or buy a quality aftermarket set of extension studs if you go with a small spacer.

No, they won't be flush, but they don't have to be. As long as the wheels you're installing are designed with an indented area between each lug hole, like the OEM wheels are, you'll be fine.

Most cast aluminum rims are like that. Steelies, not so much.
