That is serious concavity there^^^^ to have the 11.5 fit to at the fender and also clear the inside will be a small window of offset range. Something in a +35 sounds about right if you don't run more than a 285.
Should be a hot looking setup but might require some fender mods, at least in back.
Look forward to what you end up doing here. Are you planning to run heavy camber?

Im cool with trimming and shaving the bumper bracket but i didnt want to get into anything too serious

What effect does a wider wheel have on sticking out further?
Ex. - Currently have 18x7.5 + 45 in the front and 18x8.5 +50 in the rear.
I'm wanting to go 20x9 (either +25 or +35 options) front and 20x10 +40 rear.
I understand the lower offsets will push the wheel out a bit but does the wider wheel cancel that out? I want flush without spacers if I can. Also, what is a decent tire size to not stretch? Was thinking 40/245 front and 35/265 rear?
I'm not yet lowered at all but will be getting coilovers soon and dropping very mildly. Maybe 1.3/1.0 Front to rear.

For the wheels you listed I'd run 9+35 on 245/35/20 and 20x10 +40 on 285/30/20, this will be a nice fit on a mild dropped G.

I love your look Blnewt. not sure I asked the question right though. You have 8.5 inch wide up front and +40. The front wheels I want are 20x9 +45. I'm a half inch wider and .2 inches closer to the hub. Does the remaining .3 inches go toward the fender or the hub? So will my wheels with 245/40 (if it fits) stick out more than yours?

Also if you haven't already, the tire/rim calculator at http://www.willtheyfit.com helps a lot and gives you a visual idea of what your new setup will look like.

Understood and thank you again for the links. 
Just used the calculator and i'll be getting 1.14 inches of poke more than my current setup. I think that will be perfect. I'm gonna measure the horizontal gap when I get home today and pull the trigger on the set tonight I think. super excited and very appreciative of the expertise here.

hey everyone i just have a question. i skimmed through this and couldnt find my answer.. im purchasing wheels and tires and just had a question about the offset. the rims are 20 inches and the rear tires 285/30/20 and the front tires are 245/30/20/ this is for a 2011 g37xS coupe. the fitment of the wheel is +41.2. so i was wondering if this is going to fit my vehicle. i called a tire shop and they said between 25-40, but just to make sure i thought id ask peoples opinions in here. Thanks in advance for any general knowledge or opinions !! cheers !!

And 41.2 is a pretty strange number for offset

Hey thanks for the reply !!! Yeah the guy I'm buying from doesn't really know to much about wheels so he said he measured the offset and it came out to 41. There either 20x8.5 or 20x10. Will both of theses sizes fit my ride ??

He said they used to be on a 2007 Lexus GS350 sedan. But from what I can see from the sizes they should fit correct ?? Yeah I wish the tire in the front was 245/35 but for $900 for all of it I can complain lol.

so to break it down. i have a 2011 G37xs coupe. im trying to purchase 20 inch rims with a 245/30 in the front and a 285/30 in the back. obviously the bolt pattern is correct at 5x114.3, they are either 20x8.5 or 20x10 with a 41 offset is what im being told. there 20' Vertini rims with lexani tires. mint condition. but before i spend $900 on them (which is a great price) i want to know with all the information i have will they fit my vehicle. they came off a 2007 lexus gs350 awd. im heading to meet the guy tomorrow so if you guys can give me some advice on fitment i would really appreciate it. sorry for the multiple posts but i just want to make sure they will be able to be put on my ride before i purchase them. thanks G family.

Since you have an AWD you MUST have diameter variance less than 1% to avoid issues w/ your AWD system at speeds over 75mph.
If the front tires are actually a 245/35 and the rear is a 285/30 then you will be fine w/ diameter variance. If they are truly what you listed (a 245/30 & 285/30 that could destroy your AWD since the variance is 3.5%.
If it was just a mistake and the tires are the 35/30 combo you'll be OK and if the offset is +41 (which like 93 mentioned seems like an odd number for offset on a non-custom wheel) they should fit. When you take a look at teh wheels the offset should be stamped in the back or a sticker w/ the offset listed. It can be listed as ET (followed by the number) or a + followed by the number. For those width tires the 8.5 should have offsets from +35 to +40 and the 10" +40 to +45 range.
If you can't determine the offset but have your G there, I'd get out your jack and do a test fit.
You will probably need some hub adapter rings too, the Infiniti hub is different than Lexus, the Infiniti hub bore is 66.1mm so you'd need rings that adapt from whatever the wheels bore is, down to a 66.1. You can always buy these later (cost about $15 for aluminum ones on ebay), but until you do there may be some vibration at higher speeds.
