NO, I think you misread my post, you need to run either 225/45/19s OR 245/40/19s, both these tires have similar diameters and similar sidewall height, the 245/45/19s will be an inch taller than those other sizes and won't be a good match. Like I said run the numbers in the tire calculator I posted to get a better idea of how the tire numbers work.
Good Luck

What's up people. Didn't see this question in particular but I'm wearing a flame-retardant suit if I just missed it.

Coming over from Audi-Land and wondering about adapting some differing bolt patterns. Picking up a g37 soon and know the bolt pattern is 5-114.3, while the A4/S4 runs 5-112. Any idea if I can make this work without too much headache? For reference the wheels are 10-spoke Sparco Assetto Gara's. Saving some rotational weight never hurt anyone

Current setup for anyone who cares

Some wheels can be redrilled to accept the wider bolt pattern or use adapters, having never done either I can't say firsthand but know it is possible w/ that Audi bolt pattern.

For standard fitment 245/40/19 front 285/35/19 rear or for slightly worse diameter 275/35/19.

I'm still running stock 19's.. would I be better suited getting 15mm spacers all the way around? Or does a 15mm front and 20mm back promote a flusher fitment.. or is the difference negligible? Thanx

hello guys…

im kind of new here

i have a question…

the place where i bought my wheels didn't tell me my offset, probably i never asked them…
how can i figure this out?

i have a 2013 G37 coupe on vossen's cvt's 20 x9 front . 20 x 10.5 back
tires in the front are stretched 225.35.r20
back 275.30.r20

also
I dropped my car on Megan's springs two days ago and wasnt rubbing but since today it is in the back
It sounds horrible and im planing to add spacers, so its probably going to get worse.

In the front im stretched so the front its perfect, no rubbing. Also the drop in the front wasnt that much . Still have some gap.

Back
The drop was more aggressive here pretty close to the linear, i barely can put my finger between tire/linear. i think its rubbing now because it settled and came down a little bit more. Noticed that in the front also. (Came down a little more after two days)

What can i do about it?
Trim the linear and the bracket???

thanks in advance guys

Can you post pics of your setup?
Sounds like you're rubbing the liner &/or bracket in back which is common on dropped coupes w/ aggressive offsets. I'd be sure to get it aligned as soon as your springs settle, in about a week typically. Your offset should be stamped inside the wheel and also should be on your paperwork when you ordered them. It should read something like a "ET +20" .
Hopefully your offsets aren't too aggressive, as there's not much you can do w/ that except run excessive camber or pull out your fenders. Pretty common to get by w/ just a liner trim and shave the bracket down so maybe that's all you'll need

Okay guys. I did a lot of study and research for hours and now I'm having brain damage to come up with the "perfect offset" for my car...

I have 2013 37s sedan and planning to run on 19's w/ DF210's by end of this summer.

I heard that +22 all around will be "too aggressive" as I will be daily my G and I just want to have some stance, nothing too crazy.

I was thinking about 9.5x38 245/40 F and 10.5x40 275/35 R set up w/out spacers front and back.

Now, my question is will my Akebonos get in the way with those set up? Will I be rubbing with those offset/fitment? And if they do, is there any "better" offset/ tire fitment than what I have come up with?

Somebody please help me out before I end up in the ER anytime soon!

You're real close, the fronts will be perfect, the rears may poke a bit if you're not lowered.
Check RobertKs build thread, he's running very close to that but 285 +45 in the back (which I think +45 will be better overall).

As far as clearing your calipers, it really depends on the wheel, many won't clear. These templates will show what will work and what won't, you might need to email them to the wheel vendor.

Good luck & any more questions just holler.

Thank you for your help! I've locked @ 245/40 38F but you think 285/35 42R will be fine?

I'm assuming this is a coupe, I think another 5mm out back should be OK, if you've got a sedan you should be rubbing by now

A 285 w/ 10.5"+42 will be close, I know a +45 will squeeze in but that extra 3mm might get into that gray area
If you can't get a +45 and have to have that +42 wheel you can always run a bit heavy camber to get the fit if need be.
