Ricky, most wheels have the width & offset stamped in the back of the wheel, often along one of the spokes or the inner barrel, here's a block of images showing various IDs for wheels. Offset is often listed as ET or a +/- in front of the number.

Pretty boring post but any suggestions would help
What tires should I be looking at to replace the miss-matched set that is on the car from the used dealer (they are the correct size according to the sticker in the door)? Here are my requirements:
- I am not racing my 2009 G37S convertible.
- I live in the south so do not worry about snow.
- I am very much into less road noise
- I want to stay with my stock 19" wheels.
- I do not really like space I see between the sidewall and the wheel (looks like the tire should be slightly wider to me)
- I just signed up for the extended tire and wheel warranty for 48 months and do not want to jeopardize any coverage
- I do not know if this car has TPMS (how can I tell?)
- I would like my speedometer to be correct.
- This is a weekend only car for enjoyment (top down, enjoying the weather and scenery).
- I am relatively cheap but do not mind paying for quality and long life.

These have great wet & dry grip and wear pretty well for a summer tire, 25,000 miles should be about what to expect. For about 40% less the Toyo Proxes T1 Sports have great wet & dry grip but will be well worn at 20k miles. Andrew over at Treadepot.com is a good guy to talk to, mention the site for good deals. Also Neal @ Tirerack is also very helpful to us.

The stock tire sizes should be 225/45/19 front 245/40 19 rear. If you want a bit wider to get closer to the fender edge and keep your speedometer in range I'd look at 235/40/19 front 275/35/19 rear this will keep yo0ur speedometer reading just a minimal 0.67% slower and will give you a bit wider, planted feel. Summer tires are all going to wear pretty quick unless you really want to open your wallet and get the Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

I guess with these 19" wheels there is no chance of getting the old 40K to 50K miles we used to get with the smaller wheels? I have these 19" wheels on the 2013 flex Limited as well. Looks like I will be spending more on tires than I ever have in my life!

I have an AWD 2011 G37XS Sedan lowered on Tanabe Springs with stockies on it. 18x7.5 +45. Tires are 225/50/18. I have 20mm spacers all around and it sits flush enough for my liking. I was wondering if a 19" Verde Axis wheel setup with a +33 or +38 offset with 245/40/19 tires all around will work well with my spacers, or if I will have to go a different route! Thanks in advance!

I've got a question. I've got 20x10.5" vossens all round my convertible. My current tires are 245/35/20 which leaves around an inch of wheel poke which I hate. I went to the tire shop today and the tire guys said that the best option in their opinion would be 275/30/20 all round. They also mentioned if I were a forum member that I should do some asking around to see if these might rub. Any suggestions anyone? Is anyone running 275/30/20 that have or have not had any rubbing issues. Thanks in advance.

You'd be out an additional 12mm for the wider wheel and another 7mm for the offset if you went w/ the +38 and 12mm for the +33. If you skip the spacers the 8.5 +38 will be virtually the same as your current fit, and the +33 will extend 5mm from your current fit w/ your spacers on the 7.5s

I forget, are all your wheels the same offset? It all comes down to offset and the verts seem to have a bit more room than the coupes but not 100% sure about that. How much clearance do you have right now from the very outside of the tire to the inside of the fender? Keep in mind when you go to a wide square setup you are more prone to tramlining, just something to consider. Might consider 265s too.
Yes all my offsets are the same. I measured it looks like I've got nearly exactly 2.5" from the middle of my tire to the fender and somewhere around 2-2.25" from the outside of the tire to the fender. Thoughts?
I know I mentioned this already and just to be clear I defer to your experience Brad but the tire dudes at Sears pulled out there tire size books and did a bit of measuring too. I may have misunderstood them and perhaps you can explain it better to me than they did....but it sounded like they told me that the 275/30/20 is as close to the same all around size I'm running now on the car. As far as height of the tire it kept me right at the same measurement (28.8 if I remember correctly). They considered suggesting 265's as well, but that was before they did the measuring. They sent me on my way with 3 EXTREMLY HIGH quotes on 3 different tires. Good thing they agreed to a price match policy or there's no freakin way I'd be going with them.
