And those 245/275 sizes are AWD compatible

Would these tires work?
235/45R19 = 27.3x9.3R19
265/40R19 = 27.3x10.4R19

Yes, those will be AWD compatible, almost identical diameters (just 0.07% difference)

Hi all, I am currently looking into new tires for my '11 G37 Coupe Journey, which currently has the Dunlop A/S tires in 225/50R18s (square setup). From what I've researched, the OEM size of 18x8.0 should be able to fit 245 tires without issue. Can anyone verify that 245/45R18s would fit on the OEM 18s with no issues?

Secondly, not taking into account the tire quality, would there be a major different in ride quality / handling going with 245/45R18 versus the OEM 225/50R18? i.e. would Michelin PSS in 225/50R18 ride/handle differently from Michelin PSS in 245/45R18?

8" to 9.5" is the recommended rim range for a 245/45/18, it's on the narrow side so the mount will be a bit pinched, this can cause a bit more sidewall roll under hard cornering but still be a safe mount. You should have no issues going up to this size and a bit more planted feel with the larger contact patch. Wider tires are more prone to tramlining but the 245 isn't much wider so that effect should be minimal.

I'm considering replacing the stock wheels on my 09' G37S coupe but I'm a complete noob when it comes to this stuff. I'd like to stick with 19" rims and the suspension will remain stock. From what I've seen, the oem width and offset are not as common on aftermarket rims. What would be a good width and offset to go with that would not require any additional modifications? Not going for anything too aggressive.

Appreciate the help. Thanks!

Depends if you want to run a square (all wheels/tires the same size) or staggered, like your current 19" setup.
You could run a staggered 8.5" front 10" rear with offsets in the mid 30s and run a 245/40/19 front 275/35/19 rear for a bit more tire on the road and a better stance. You don't want anything more aggressive at stock suspension height IMO.
Now you just need to find wheels that you like.
G/L w/ that

Thanks for the recommendations.

If I were to stay staggered, would I want to go with the same offset in front and rear?

You could run a +35 on an 8.5 and also on a 10" for the coupe, if you go w/ wider rims I'd go w/ more positive offset. And since you have an S w/ the big brake calipers you need to verify that they'll clear w/ the vendor prior to ordering.
Here's a template should you need to send one to a vendor

What offset do I need for 19x10 squared? and would it be better with 245 or 255 tires? I am looking for more or less flush fitment a bit of poke is OK.

Will the following setup work on my xS coupe without fender modification or too much negative camber?

Stance SC6 20x10 +35 265/35/20 squared

My car is lowered on Eibach Pro-Kit springs.

Thanks.

Always refer folks to Lt8ches coupe fitment as it's just about perfect~

A 20x10 +35 on 265s will be essentially the same fit at the fender, just need to confirm brake clearance w/ the wheel vendor since you have the big Akebono calipers. Send this template to the vendor if you need to

Sedan on BC coils, about a finger gap maybe slightly less but low enough to scrape.

10" +40 running 255s or possibly 265s. If you have the big S brakes you need to verify clearance. You'll be right at the fender in front so you may rub the inner fender edge under compression

Hey guys. I'm not very smart when it comes to offsets and tire sizes, so here I am.

Thinking of some Avant Garde M310's and want to check on sizing.

19x8.5 et35 245/40/19 Front

19x9.5 et40 275/35/19 Rear

Would that be pretty flush with swift springs?

Thanks in advance.
