The OFFICIAL "I have a wheel offset / tire fitment question!" thread
#346
Hey Guys,
Just purchased a 2007 G35S and looking to get some wheels sometime before the end of this month. I'm a real noob when it comes to wheels offsets and fitments, the wheels im looking at are the Gramlight 57Xtreme which come in the following sizes:
19 9.5 offsets 12, 25, 35 or 43
19 10.5 offsets 12, 25, 35 or 43
I want a flush fitment I will be dropped about an inch soon shortly. My bud said +35 Fronts & +43 for the rears, can someone chime in and let me know if that would sit flush without any rubbing?
Also what tire size would be best recommended?
Thanks!

your bud told you the OEM offsets for the g37s coupe and due to the wider wheels they would fill out nicely without rubbing, the question I have though - is there more room on the g35, because i think there is.... If there is more room, you can get a higher offset like and wider tires (255/35/19 front and 285-295/30/19 rear) or a lower offset and your standard 245f/275r wide tires
shot in the dark but maybe +25 front and +35 back with 245/35/19 front and 285/30/19 back shouldn't rub. double check with g35 owners though you might even be able to get away with +12 and _25....

Hello,
I've been looking all over the forum trying to figure out sizing and offset to get. Not a big concave fan and that's what I'm mainly finding when it comes to sizing for sedans.
Wheels I'm looking at are
Work vs-xx or weds bazreia
19x9-9.5 +25-30
19x10-10.5 +25-30
Running little negative camber & stretched tires is ok.
Looking for stance similar to tonyhtx.
Will this fit with little to no fender work? I have a '10 sedan rwd and will be lowered on coilovers.
Thank you

Alright guys,
I have an awd X sedan and looking to upsize to a square flush set up dropped on Swift Springs. I likely will be running a 245/40/19 Tire. I just need to find Rims which will have a semi-concave look for the offset required.
Anyone have any ideas specifically? I cannot find my original choice of wheels similar to AUR11's, so I am looking at anywhere from 8.5 wide to 9.5 at most.
I like Eurotech Mesh style and Miro 111's for example. I am open to suggestion

Have you looked at the Avante Gardes? The M310 in the same size & offset would also work well w/ a similar look.

I am also curious about the level of flushness to the fender and if I would have concavity? I'm thinking a 9 inch might be ideal, I just haven't seen many aftermarket rims in 9 inch sizes.

If you're driving a sedan those are the offsets you want although the front fender isn't rolled like the rear so a +43 in front will give you a bit more room, and for tires a 245/40/19 front and 275/35/19 rear would be perfect. If you have a coupe I'd go +35 all around w/ the same tire sizes.
Placing and order hopefully at the start of next month, ill post a pic when they're on the car!
cheers

really stupid question: I'm running stock 19's on my G and will most likely never get real wheels.. so.. I would like to just swap my front 8.5's to a 9" and have 19 x 9's all the way around.. this is not unheard of right? or is there something else I would need to worry about? i doubt it, but figured I'd ask as most people run a staggered set up unless they have 10.5's all the way around. having the option to rotate my tires and hopefully extend their life would be nice for future sets
I will hopefully soon be getting some coils and 15mm spacers all the way around if I can trade my front stocks for someones rear stocks =P

OK, I have been hemming and hawing for a while on this. Discount Tire is telling me I can fit all kinds of tires in these wheel wells. Haha. Somehow I doubt a lot of these setups fit without mods.
So here is my proposed setup for a stock height 2008 G37S COUPE, please tell me if it will work out:
Front Rim Stance SC6 20x9 offset 32
Front Tire 255 35 20
Rear Rim Stance SC6 20x10 offset 35
Rear Tire 285 30 20
The calculator on here says the setup will stick out 1.1" further than stock to the outside. Will this clear an unrolled fender, or do I need to drop down to the 245/275 setup? Again, we're talking stock height and unrolled fenders. I'd love to have 305s and 10.5"s, or even 285s on 10.5s (can that be done?) but I think that might be out of my league, and getting custom work in Oklahoma is probably like trying to get brain surgery in West Virginia. I don't want Bubba banging on my car very bad... Am I being paranoid?

Hey guys I been on the site for couple of months just looking, I have a 2010 g37s sedan 6mt. I have a question purchased 370z wheels 19" with 9.0 front with +47 10 with +30 in the rear I'm dropped on h&r spring, wanted to know if I run 245/40 front and the back 275/40 would it fit. don't really want to run 35 in the back
