The OFFICIAL "I have a wheel offset / tire fitment question!" thread
#301
Check this thread from post #47 on out, his AWD coupe is on 8.5 +35 &
10 +40, and 245/285 tires, they're 20s but the fit at the fenders will be essentially the same as 19s. I think the F&R fit is about what you're wanting, and running 275s in back w/ a bit less positive offset on a 1/2" narrower rim should net a similar fit. I think I'd opt for the +35 in front, especially is you're not adverse to running a small spacer. Here's the thread
https://www.myg37.com/forums/build-t...x-coupe-4.html
As far as the tires, the 235/40s are only 0.18" smaller in diameter than the 275/35s and that's the critical variance, both 245/275 and 235/275 will work alright, I was just throwing that option at you since it the variance will improve over time and the 245/275 will get worse.

Looking at that set-up though, i may convince myself i need to go 20s. I just drive really hard (live in the mountains) and prefer to have a little sidewall.
Thanks again for all the help.

It really depends on what you are looking for. Without any stretching or large amounts of camber the ideal setup would be something along these lines:
(Insert whatever diameter wheel that you fancy, 19", 20")
Front:19x9.5 +35 offset
Rear: 19x10.5 +45 offset
Now if you go lower on the wheel widths the offsets can be tinkered with but it all depends on the "look" you are going for.
The Velgen VMB5s 19s only come in 19x9.0" for the fronts and 19x10.5 for the rear. Their offsets for the front are +25 and +35. Rears are +25 and +45.
The VMB5 are great looking wheels. So if you went with the VMBs in 19 you would want 19x9 +35 and 19x10 +45 would be the fitment I went with. Again though this the ideal of safe fitment you could say. If your into the stretched tire look and lots of camber you can change the fitments.

Can anyone comment on how all front GTR OEM wheels would fit & look on a G37S sedan with stock suspension?
Wheels are 20 x 9.5 45 offset, tires are 255/35/20
Seems like this size wheel should fit both front & rear pretty well, but want to see if anyone thinks they would stick out passed the fender (poke) or cause any other clearance issues.
Also, any have opinions on how this would look? Thanks

by not even close I mean there is room, but I cannot fit my infiniti key between my fender and wheel, I can fit a pen cap though. PM me if you want pics and more info.
edit; actually heres the pic:
once i get a camber kit and reduce the camber to -.5 or 0*, the tip of that pen cap will not fit anymore. don't think i'll have to roll the front fenders, but who knows...

Your wheel specs should be in this link
Infiniti G37 Sedan Rim and Tire Specifications, weight, offset and information
Enter your oem wheels/tires in the first box and the wheels/tires you want in box 2 and measure your current setup and see if that new wheel/tire extension will work
https://www.myg37.com/forums/tire_rim_calculator.php
The rears will be fine but the front may be a bit close

So I finally pulled the trigger this wkend.
Ordered wheels (Avant Garde M310's) and tires (Toyo Proxes 4 Plus)
20x9 +30. 245/30/20
20x10 +40. 275/35/20
Sedan with a mild drop on Eibach Pro springs...
I've done a lot of research and this should be flush all around.
Any opinions??

Offset & tire widths are just right though, look forward to pics!

Installation end of the week/ into next week.
Pics to follow.
Also, do you think I'll be running too much camber to not have a camber kit?
I'm trying to avoid it unless its totally necessary.(burning though a set of tires every year)
