The OFFICIAL "I have a wheel offset / tire fitment question!" thread
#16
Here is one for you. I just picked up an '11G37X sedan. I'm not nuts about the fender gaps but don't want to lower the car - I live on a dirt road in Vermont.
Will these wheels work? Will they help to close the gap or is overall wheel/tire combo circumference the same as my stock 17s? Will I need spacers or will I have to mod anything to go with 18s?

I'm running 20x10 +45 w/ 295/30/20 w/ no rubbing issues. You'll be about 12mm inside of mine from the fender edge (although you'll be out a bit from that since you're higher up than me, I'm at zero gap on coils) I'm thinking maybe 5mm out due to being higher so still 7mm in from my setup. Here's a pic for reference.

Tire Fitment Question!
Please help, I would like to run this set up on my 2008 G37s Coupe...
WORK VS-XX Burning Black
f: 20X9.5 -5 AND R: 20X10.5 +10 // nTYPE: O-DISK
TOYO EXTENSA HP F: 225/35/20 R: 245/35/20
With this setup, would I require any additional work or items like rolling out fenders or spaces? Also would run into any rubbing issues?
Thank You!

You can make this set-up work but youre gonna have to do some work... youre gonna have to roll your front fenders, trim the rear bumper bracket and use a camber kit to get the appropriate negative camber required. On top of that, you will have to be slammed to pull this off... Those tires sizes would work with the appropriate stretch needed as well...

for the coupe platform i think a +22 on a 9.5 is perfect. Anymore and you will experience slight rubbing. For the rears, a +30 on a 10.5 would be a perfect combo for the +22 fronts. A + 30 for the rears will require trimming the rear bumper bracket which is no big deal. Again, trimming and not shaving the entire bracket... its removing a little extra plastic off the bumper from where it is held by the metal bracket. i thought trimming was a big deal at first but its nothing that would cause any issues whatsoever... i shaved my bracket a little after trimming it as well.

With the +22 and +30 do you think i'll get the same look as the white G on stancenation?

Sounds good. My intentions were to get a fitment that looks like this white G37 on stance nation >>> Low N Slow // Infiniti G37 Coupe Duo | Stance:Nation - Form > Function

like I said earlier, you would have to do some work to the fenders... Rolling fronts and not much but a small pull for the rears...
The +22 and +30 would def look good... Specially over the stocks set up, thats for sure... Im on my phone so I cant search as quickly to show you pics but there are def set up on here with those offsets...

Can anybody tell me if I will have any fitment issues in my G37S if I were to run Volk GT7 wheels, 245/35/19 19x9+23 fronts, 245/40/19 19x9.5+24 rears. I'm currently lowered on coilovers to about 26" fender height, running -1.5/-1.8 camber (front/rear).
