As far as offsets, really depends how much camber you want to run at drive height, for in spec camber at drive height offset in the +25 range in front and +35 in back would seem pretty. close. If you're wanting a cambered look when running you can run less positive on the offsets
Need to confirm BBK clearance w/ vendor too.
Is there a setup that I will stay within spec with a smaller sidewall I can run? The reason I’m asking is the front fenders I got a couple mm of space between the fender fins and tire leaving it impossible to even run spacers without rubbing. And I was fearing with a wider wheel that I am going to have the same problem I would with spacers

245/35 & 285/30 will be almost identical diameter wise. 245/35 & 275/30 will be right at 1%, so I'd go w/ 245/285 combo @ 0.08%

Hello everyone,

I am interested in getting Enkei Raijin wheels for my g37xs coupe. The specific size I’m interested in is 19x9.5 +35 (squared). Anyone have an idea how the fitment will be? Will the rear need spacers? And will it clear the BBK?

Thanks in advance for any help!

19x9.5 +20 to +25 w/ 255/40 tire
(may need a spacer in the rear but i'm ok with that)

I want something as flush as possible yet functional. I am going to be putting Eibach springs. Jut want to make sure this setup will work before I start looking at wheels so I know exactly what to look for.
Thanks!

Did a little more research and I came across a sweet deal on some 20's. Before I pull the trigger I wanted to see what you guys thought.

20x9 with either a +20 or +32?
20x10.5 with +30 or +45?

what's good tire size without stretching to much?

If you want little or no-stretch w/ the tires run the higher positive offsets, a 9+32 running 255/35 and a 10.5+45 running 295/30 will be a good staggered setup.

I like the idea of having a meatier tire, especially on 20s. Would the tires be more flush to the fender? Or at least pretty close.

Thanks for the input!

Would be a more flush fit but still tuck well inside the fenders, should be happy w/ that setup.

Scored a set of lightly used Michelin PSS for $150!
I assumed 235/50/18 would fit the 18" duckfeets, which currently have 225s.
Double checking here.

They'll be fine, 1.45% taller but on a square setup no issues, that's about the widest I'd run on the 7.5" fronts (if you have the staggered 7.5/8.5 setup).

I'm squared up. 7.5" F&R. Thanks for the confirmation! Driving just got more exciting

Hey, I have a 2009 g37s coupe. Just bought new rims that are 19x9.5 +22 / Machine Face / 5x114.3(the +35's were OOS and I couldn't wait). Currently on the car are 18's squared(look like oem enkei's only had the car a year). But I was curious some options of tires I could use. I want to have some fatter meat in the rear but I'm not really sure how to figure that out. I want to drop in the future but no plans as of yet. Any tire sizes would great!! I don't really want a stretched look but that's about it. Some aggressive options/non-aggressive options would also be appreciated.

Welcome to the site Zack.
You can run up to a 275/35 all around but wider tires like that in front are more prone to tramlining. I would go w/ 265/35 if they have that size in a tire you like (265s aren't as common so selection can be limited). If you can't find what you want I'd then go w/ a 255/40, more choices and much better regarding tramlining.

So I read that stock fits 275/35/19 and 245/40/19 on stock wheels but a much higher offset. I’m just not sure if they would fit or what would be best in terms of staggered tires. I wouldn’t run 265/275s all around that’s a little silly to me. Or do they all need to be the same tire being that they are all the same wheel? I guess kind of what I’m asking is what can I fit the biggest in rear and offsetting with a little smaller up front to have that nice thick rear end?( if that is an option going with all 4 same wheels) with the intention of coil overs in the future. Looking at nitro nt555 extreme or something about that price range for good performace\ tread life but mostly DD sensibly. Now that you mention tramlining maybe something a little softer sidewall.

Here's a couple posts w/ my sedan running 245s all around and running 245 front 285 rear on 9.5s. I ran Nitto nt555s when I had 20s, ok tire but nothing special TBH. My current Kumho Ecstas are a much better performer. The newest G2 version of the nt555s might be a better performer but haven't heard much regarding that.

Beautiful sedan you have. Amazing fitment and clean clean clean!!

So i went ahead and just pulled the trigger on some stance coilovers and I was curious what other parts I might as well upgrade when they go to do that work. Any idea what other parts I should do? I have seen ball joints, tie rod ends, new bushings, but I am still fairly new to the car and have never done suspension work nor what parts are good. I am going to try 245/40(45)/19's and 275(285)/35(40)/19's but I am just not sure how everything works still. It is extremely hard to not what will work/not work and looking online just runs me through the ringer in my head just trying to make sure everything fits, works, doesn't scrape etc etc. For sure not going to slam it but I will probably go fairly conservative on the drop just looking to get a more aggressive look. Any parts that are just a no-brainer?

You have been extremely helpful blnewt, thanks man! See your name all over.
