I bent two TSW Blades on my Sentra SE-R when I hit the Tar Strip From Hell while fitted with Euro-T/A tires. Very soft sidewalls and low-profile couldn't protect the wheels. That said, any wheel can be bent and most people don't have issues with wheels beyond curb rash.

Hi all, just started to mod the wife's car (13 g37x sedan), i recently bought 20x10 +38 wheels, I was wondering what size tires i can put on them to avoid rubbing since i plan to lower the car on coils down the road? Any advice would be appreciated

Hello everybody, i just lowered my 09 g37x sedan on megan racing lowering springs. I am now looking at getting aftermarket wheels and don't know what size to get without rubbing. I am looking at getting 18 inch and i am guessing around 8 to 9 inches wide but do not know about offset or tire size. i am looking to avoid getting wheel spacers unless i have to. I would like a nice clean fitment.
Any help is appreciated

And here's a thread on more 18" wheels

And a great thread about running square setups, many sedans here~
https://www.myg37.com/forums/brakes-...post-here.html
And keep in mind, a 20" wheel setup w/ a 9.5 +38 and running 245/35/20 tires will have virtually the same fit at the fender as mine, just to keep in mind when you're seeing other setups with larger diameter wheels.
Oh, and welcome to the site!

Current set up:
08 coupe lowered on tein s tech
73.1 center bore
245/35/19 +35 in the front
275/35/19 +40 in the rear
Would i be able to run 285/35/19 in the rear without issues while keeping the 245/35/19 in the front?

Hey all,
Trying to figure out if a set of 255/45/18s will be okay on the front without rubbing. Friend gave me a free set of them so I'm trying to run a squared set up of these on Work Emotion D9Rs.

If you're in need of all new tires I'd run a 245/40 front and 285/35 rear, no issues at all then, your tires will be almost the exact diameter as your original factory tires and you will only have a 0.5% diameter difference front to back which is excellent
If you only need rear tires a 285/30/19 would be the best choice in that case as your front to back difference is virtually zero, but you will be almost 4% off from OEM sizes which may cause some issues w/ your ABS & traction control. You already have that situation w/ your current tires, so if you haven't had any issues in that area then you should be ok going on.

Yes, you can run the 285 (it's the absolute widest tire you should run on a 9.5" width) but the 35 series is a bit of a problem, it's going to be 1.1" taller than your 245/35 (which would be best if it was a 245/40).
