how about 18x9 et 42 with a 245/50/18 ?
22.4 closer inside/28.4 further out according to the calculator I use
will it hit anything inside ?
prob not going to lower this car in the near future , it has 20k on it , when the struts go away that may change but for now , stock height , taller tire

Hey guys,
I've been searching for some wheels/tires for my RWD coupe and just picked up a set of 19x9 square wheels for a good deal on facebook. After perusing this thread, it seems I may have jumped the gun a little bit. Are there tire size(s) that would work well for the coupe with a square setup?
They currently have used tires: 235/35/19s in the front and 265/35/19s in the rear.

To keep the diameter close to OEM diameter I'd run 245/40/19 as the go-to tire size, and down to a 235/40 or up to a 255/40 or 265/35 if you want a bit more tire. Since you have RWD you can run different sizes front and back, but I'd run the same all around so you can do a true 4 wheel rotation to get better tread wear over time.

You've got a prety wide range of tires that will work on a 9" width. The wheel offset may be a factor with how wide you can go. If it's a conservative offset like a +40 you can run up to that 265 without issue, if it's more aggressive (less positive) then it may limit you a bit.

Tossing up the idea of 20x10.5 +45 with 275/30/20 all around for my sedan... Any fitment issues, particularly up front? There's someone selling a set of Vossen VFS1 for super cheap locally. Not sure if I want to pull the trigger. This is going to be my daily driver, and I'm quite happy with the 19x9.5 +35 I have on it now in terms of fitment and functionality. But these wheels look super sweet!

Those are a nice looking set. There's a couple guys running 10.5 +35s w/ 275s on sedans in the square fitment thread (Tbulsara & MylilG) should be in the first 2 pages here~

The main concern w/ 10.5 +45 would be clearance at the upper section of the steering knuckle, it's going to be close, no issues in back though.
