You could run 225/45, 235/45 or 245/40 on those 8" 19s, the 235/40 would have a bit taller sidewall and the 245s would be a very slight pinch fit. Check around w/ tire pricing, you may have one size that's much better priced than the others. For most tire brand models that range of sizes is in their recommended range for the 8" width 19.

Been doing some research for a friend's g37 coupe s. I have a G35 coupe and know that g37 have less clearance than I do here goes:
Front Spec will be 19x9.5 +30 (2.5" lip / 7" barrel)
Rear spec will be 19x10.5 +32 (3.5" lip / 7" barrel) or 19x11 +26 (4" lip / 7" barrel).
Would like to go an extra 1/2" lip on the front, making it 19x10 +24
Just curious which setup could be achieved from only natural camber from coilovers and stretched tires... not planning on running any negative camber..
Thanks

I know you guys mentioned a lot of numbers but this is one you didn't mention so I'm wondering if they will work with my 2010 g37xs sedan lowered on swifts
The tires are 245/45/19 with my 19x8 35 offset.

Hey all,
I am planning on purchasing a 2008 G37s coupe soon and I was hoping you guys could help me figure out what I would need in terms of tire size and wheel offsets. I'm a total noob so please bare with me. I plan on lowering the car 1-2" and would like to achieve as flush of a fitment as possible *without* the use of spacers. my plan is to go with a staggered setup. I'm open to suggestions but was thinking maybe 20x9 in the front and 20x10.5 in the rear? (whatever works best for flush fitment) what wheel size/offset should I go with to achieve a "flush" fitment? (no wheel gap and close to fender) I want to go with 20" wheels without stretching the tire but also don't want too high of a sidewall. I'll be dropping the car just enough to eliminate the wheel gap and to have the fender flush with the top of the tire. what wheel offsets/tire size should I go with to achieve this? and is it possible to achieve this fitment without fender pulling or shaving? any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks

9+25 running 245/35/20 front 10.5 +35 275/30/20 or a 10.5 +40 285/30/20. This would be running in-spec camber, if you don't mind a bit more camber you could run 5mm less positive offset or another 10mm wider tires. Look into coilovers if you want to fine tune your height, the Tein Basis Z coilovers are under $500 so I'd give those a look.
Thanks for the speedy reply blnewt!
I'm not a big fan of the camber look to be honest. So I'd like to try and avoid it if possible. I would prefer if the wheels ran flat straight up and down. so if I went with 20x9 +25 offset with 245/35/20 tires Font and 10.5 +35 offset with 275/30/20 tires Rear would that give me a flush fitment without having to do any camber? and yes, I would be going with coilovers. was actually considering BC racing coils. Think tein basis Z are better in your opinion? Its only going to be driven in the city and only in the summer/fall months. Thanks again for your help.
