The OFFICIAL "I have a wheel offset / tire fitment question!" thread
#136
2011 G37X Sedan. Currently I have winter tires and stock 17'' rims.
I am looking for summer tires and rims. Can I use 18'' (18x8) OEMs without any problems? How do I know if TPMS will work with my car? Do I need to go to the dealer to program TPMS?

I'm not certain of the year when they switched the TPMS setup, maybe someone can chime in that knows for sure, I believe 2011 on up should be the same. Most of the major shops will set your TPMS. And yes, w/ your G ANY other OEM G wheel will work, including coupe 19s as long as you get the proper sized tires w/ diameters within 1% of stock.

i'd like to go with a wide square setup on my 08 coupe 6mt. i'm thinking of getting enkei RPF1s in 19x9.5, 42ETA all around, 275/35 pilotsports on them.
i'm pretty sure the rears will fit without issue as it's very close to the stock fitment with wider tires and i've seen a few folks running stock sport wheels with 275s. in fact, i'd probably even think about a 10mm spacer. the real question is if the fronts will fit.
i'm on stock suspension and will likely stay that way.

The 19" Z wheels have very aggressive offsets for a sedan, the rears will poke out from the fenders a bit unless you run a bit extra camber and a stretched tire fitment. If you run all front sized rims you'll be OK, but the Z rears will take some work. If you go all fronts you could run 245/40/19s on all four corners, that would be the easy way to go.

I have also been debating this set up. I have a 2012 G37 Journey Coupe on which I will be installing the Akebono brakes and lowering on Eibach springs. Will four of the 370Z Sport Rays front wheels (D00C00-3GY4A) clear the Akebono brakes on all four corners, or will spacers be needed. The rear Rays wheels are too aggressive for me and I do not want negative camber or a stretched tire to make them fit. Thanks for any help!

I have a 09 g37x coupe lowered on bc and want to know if i can run square 255's on staggered setup. Wheels are F: 20 x9 et +25 with 245 tires ( needs replacing) and R:20x10.5 et 27 with 255 (still in good condition). I was hoping to just replace the front with 255 due to poor road conditions or should I go with 245/285 combo.

So I read all 10 pages, and didn't see the sizes I'm questioning.....last year I ran 20x8.5 with 255/35/20 all around, with 1/2" spacers on my 11 g37x sedan, This year I am going to run 8.5 up front and 10 rear, but I'm not sure what offsets to get them in. I'm lowered on eibachs, and with the spacers, I still had a good 3/8" before I was truly flush. I don't want any crazy poke, but I want the car to look mean when I'm parked......any suggestions on offsets and tire size ?

295/30/20R 10" +45
For an X I'd run the same offsets but run 285/30/20s in back since that's THE BEST combo diameter-wise for your AWD, virtually identical to oem diameters. And you won't be as low as I am so you won't poke w/ the 285s (but would a bit w/ 295s)

So I've decided I want to run 20x10 all around, with a mild 255/35 stretch, I'm assuming a +25 will be too aggressive and stick out to far , right ? Would I be safer with a +35 or +40 instead? All these numbers are making me crazy, all I've been doing is looking through pages of forums looking for peoples wheel offsets hahaha. No bueno.

Hey Everyone,
I've searched around a bit and found some conflicting information.
2009 G37x - OE Rims are either:
17 x 17.5, 114.3, +45mm Offset
18 x 18.5, 114.3, +45mm Offset
I found some Black Chrome 18" JX Rims - but can't seem to find the offset - I found conflicting information - I found +40, +45 and +50 - does anyone know for sure?
If they were +40 or +50 - would those work with my G37x? The offset is how far in or out they'd end up sticking out correct?
Is there a comprehensive list of other makes/models whose rims will fit anywhere someone can point me to?
i.e. Murano, EX35, FX Rims, etc. - or any other make/model - i.e Lex GS AWD setups, etc.? Any info anyone can share would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys! Alternately I"m looking at maybe finding some Q50 rims also...

Actually - looks like the new Q50's are +50mm - how badly will that stick out? (I also found a set of OE Take offs from the 19" sport w/ new tires.)
Thanks again for answering the n00bs questions guys!
