2010 G37s vert : Tire repair kit ?

I noticed that I do not have any spare tire kit or tire repair kit in the dedicated space in the trunk.

Does the 2010 model is sold with an optional tire repair kit, or the dealer that sold me my used certified pre-owned "forgot" to reinstall one ?

Thanks.

The car should come with one, even used. I had the same problem when I bought my 2010 G37 S used, and the Infiniti dealer ordered me another one free of charge. Did you buy it from an Infiniti dealer?

Yes, they replied me to get one in a generic part reseller (auto zone or equivalent) and they will refund me. But I would strongly prefer a genuine one, just to be sure that my TPMS sensor wont be damaged in case of tire repair !

I just bought mine used from a dealer. They checked to make sure I had one and said if I didn't, they would have got one for me. The kit which includes a air pump that works pretty good, is in a nice hard plastic case. If you had to piece something like that together, ut would take up way too much space in the trunk.....and lord knows we have precious little to spare. Push'um a bit.

Get a spare tire & wheel. The "shoe goo" in the tire repair kit will mess up the pressure sensor and require a costly replacement.

do you guys know where we can get replacements for the conti mobility kit? i used my kit (didn't work) but i may want to use it again. i know tire rack sells replacement parts for the hose/goo/adapter, but it looks like a different base kit than what I have. mine is from a 2011 g37 vert and is one grey box. theirs looks to be a grey and yellow box.

I second the above comment on getting a real spare tire & wheel. The goo in the repair kit is good only for nail punctures, not road hazard slices or sidewall damage. It will kill your tire air pressure sensor and after you replace a couple of those a wheel & tire will seem like a bargain.

Where's the best place to get a "real" wheel and tire - and I've seen that there is a smaller "spare" wheel and tire combo that works?

Wrecking yard or dealer's parts department. If you go the wrecking yard route, make sure it clears both front & rear bodywork & suspension.
