Finnally took the plunge and ordered new wheels, projekt f2s dual concave

hey guys i just placed an order for the 1st of 2 wheels thatare 20x10.5 with a 45mm offsets "the only one they offer"

we are test fitting them on the front this weekend to see if we will need spacers to clear thebbk brakes, most likely i will and try to fit a 265 or 275 tire on the front.

if everything works and looks great i will order the other 2for the rear with a 285 tire set up with no spacers same offsets,

if it doesn’t work out i will just order the other 2 withthe 20x9 with 35mm offset that they offer.

I am guessing i will need around 15-20mm spacer in thefronts hopefully ?

i know most of the guys running stance sc5 are 27mm offsetwith 265's on all 4

i think i will be the first to have these on a coupe and first to have dual concave with them on a Infiniti

it’s been a lot of researching involved hopefully it willwork out

Look forward to seeing them on your coupe, 275s in front are pretty wide, 265s would be a better bet. That front fenders' under clips are pretty easy to rub when your low & flush. How low are you?
I've got 295s in the rear w/out issues on my sedan on 10x20 w/ +45 offset, lowered on coils so there's no fender gap. I think you'd need about 20mm spacers to flush them in the rear.
Good Luck!

Nice choice. Seen them a lil while back on that F30 and wondered how they'd look on the G. Guess we get to find out now.

new update guys

things didnt go well with my local tire shop they were giving me a hard time over the dual concave st up and running 10.5s in the front,

1st issue
they flat refused to insatall any wheel using a spacer and didnt recomend it "which i understand" so i would have to mount and balance there then install them at my house which was not biggie.

2nd issue they mounted a 255 tire on it which was way too skinny on a 10.5 and poking out for my tastes, yes some people like this look but just iusnt for me, i really needed a 265 tire 265-30-20 but the problem ii it'ss a oddball sized tire, yes tire rack and discount tire offered them but it was 100.00 more per tire ! and was difficult finding a matching rear tire for the size

i could have went with a 275 tire easily for a normal price, but i was pretty confident it was too big and would work for the fronts

so to save me a bunch of headaches and some money i ended up going with the 20x9s with a 245-35-20 in the front and 20x10.5s in the front with a 285-30-20

i couldnt have went with a 295 or even 305 since the offset are so far inwards but with those tires the depth droped down to 25 series only "it would be like rubber bands on them "

im general it was going to cost upwards of 300.00 just too do dual concave set ups

for those who are interested in the future i did test fit one in the garage and it does fit but it will need a 15m wheel spacer for sure and it did hit the bbks 45mm offset

hope this helps, i wil have the other 2 wheels ordered on monday in 20x9s

they only offer these wheels with 20x10.5s 45mm and 30x9s with 35mm

Well at least you're getting things figured out and you're able to do some test fits. A shame they don't offer those wheels in a more coupe-friendly offset. Usually it's the sedan guys that have more trouble finding suitable spacing. Sometimes the wheel manufacturer will have uncut blanks and can cut them to your specific offsets, might be worth a try first.
Good Luck and I'm in for pics!

If you're going to buy new wheels.. generally you really should buy them in the correct offset without the need to run spacers or stretch tires (unless you're into stretch and poke). If the company didn't have offset that meets those needs I would look else where.

So they refused to put the tires on cause you had spacers? Did you have good spacers like H&R? That's a little weird dude, I mean we been running on spacers for ever with no issues whatsoever. Granted they are the ones where you replace the studs not the ones with the built in ones. Bunch of us were running generals 265's with our dual concave set up, picked them up for about 620 for 4, and they were good tires. Anyway man good luck with the whole process, it will be worth it when it's all done. Plenty of pics when completed

apparently the same tire store "discount tire" i been going to for 10 years now had a new managers they were a total pain, i have brought my sti and evos there in the past with no issues,

thats an excelent price !!! tire rack only had 1 available for 250.00 a piece but no matching rears

the spacers where the hi end ones with the extra studs "not replacing them though" but i was unsure of what offsets i needed either a 15mm or 20mm thats why i wanted to test fit them with tire to make sure i cleared everything on the front,

as soon as i knew what sizes i was going to order the spacers

i envy you guys who take big leaps for doing something different "dual concave"

i will certainly have alot of pics whene done hopefully this weekend.

thanks for all your support guys

hey guys finally got them installed yesterday they look awesome !!

i would like to give a special thanks to b2auto for all there help and fast response to my emails,

but we still had a problem with the fronts not clearing the bbks "notb2autos fault" but projekt wheels being miss informed,

they promised it would clear the frons with no spacers at all ! well that wasn’t the case luckily i had a friend’s5mm slip on spacers on hand that i had to use it clears buy just mm from thebbks

the problem with the slip on 5mm wheel spacers is im only getting about 5 to 6 full turns on the wheel bolts i will have to order new ones with longer threads.

the rears fit with no issues at all and could have even run a a 295 or 305tire with no issues but i went with a 285 for the rears 245 for the fronts

the car is lowered with tein h tech springs

Sweet look! I too have had great transactions w/ B2, glad you're happy w/ them!
I think I read that 5mm spacers give you just enough thread for a safe install, I'd confirm this for sure but you may be OK w/out longer studs. I'd be a bit nervous w/ just 1mm clearance though
