Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sports or Potenza S-04 Pole Positions?

Hi All!

Wanted to get some of your feedback on tire selection for my G37s. I have worn the OEM Potenza RE050A down and time to get new ones. I am trying to decide between the Potenza RE760 Sport tires or Potenza S-04 Pole Positions. The ratings on sites have the S-04 slightly ahead, but not by much. I just wanted to get some feedback from you all that may have tried or are using any of these two tires, and what you prefer. I live in NC in mixed dry/wet terrain (rarely see snow).

Thank you!
Brent

Loved the re760 sports for traction, tracked on them as well, pretty competant tire, lots of road noise. Not sure about the s-04's. Hankook evo v12 are really good too for longevity, road noise, a little flex in the corners but depends on how hard you are pushing them. Do you have a coupe or sedan? I have some new hankooks for a coupe for sale.

The 760 is a great sport tire for a daily driver. Plenty of sport to handle aggressive street driving but wears well and isn't loud. Their S04 is a bit more raw and designed for the frequent aggressive driver. The wear is quicker and they will make more noise, but dry traction/response is a bit better.

Thanks guys! I actually ordered some Re760's last week and should be in by Monday. They seem like good tires, good reviews, and I got a great deal. Thank you for the feedback.
