Tire offset help

I had the same issue yet took a die grinder and a cutter to cut away the fender liner..the die grinder just took me 30 min to do both sides of the bumper bracket and tada! No more rubbing...
I have 20x10.5 rear with 285/30/20 and dropped on Tein...tucks nicely! but it was more the liner that I was hearing...the Bracket some but now they are both shaved and cut back...happy moding!

I have 285/30/20 tires on the rear of my g37 and they are scraping against the rear fenders on EVERY LITTLE BUMP . I was wondering what tire offsets are good so there is no scraping? By the way i have 20 in Vossen CV3 rims and I'm planning to lower it soon after i solve the tire problem.

Okay ill try to do that. If there any more suggestions please keep sending them

Finally i have the camber kit and the springs installed! And the guy who did my camber kit told me that the tires were in fact rubbing against the fender linear. so my question is now, should i cut the whole fender linear out or should i just push it up?

I'm still having trouble with this tire issue. I have the CV3 Vossen Rims with 20/25 offset (which i just figured out ) and on them
I put 245/35/20 tires in the front and 285/30/20 tires in the back. I am lowered on Eibach Springs with a Camber kit so I don't have negative Camber. I trimmed the bumper Bracket to its max and cut a Ton of fender linear out (like 2 inches!) And every time I go on the interstate going 70+ mph on a few bumps I still hear the rear tire rubbing!!! I know now (that I found out about my offset) that I'm to wide in the back with my tires! I wanted the 285 tires because I was looking for an aggressive look and I did not want my rims to be tucked in the fender. So my question is...can I keep the front tire at 245 and try to replace the rear tire to either 275 or 265? And would this tuck my rims in the fender because I was trying to stay away from spacers?

I learned that the hard way! and I really want to keep the 245 in the front and just change the back. I'm not to sure of getting the 255 because i think it will tuck my whole rim and tire inside the fender.

It shouldn't with the low offset on the rim, but I am by no means an expert, just learning myself

Could I run a 245/35 in the front and a 265/30 in the Back? I've never heard of anyone having these tire sizes together. I'm going to have to exchange my Rear rear tires at discount tire and get the 265. So I plan to make this easier by keeping the front tires and just exchanging my rear tires.
