Do you like these wheels?

2 or 3 gets my vote. Here's a sedan that had the 67 a while back.

Sa-67s are sold out through January in gunmetal, but they're offering the black chrome ones for a pretty decent discount.

Enkei has a line of rims they call their Racing Series. And there's this RSM9 rim which is super lightweight, like the RP03, but more attractive (IMO). A simple machined lip, with a piano black set of narrow spokes.
It looks like from their sizing chart that they would be 18.0 and 18.6 pounds respectively front-2-back in a staggered, OEM size; (18"x7.5" and 18"x8.5").
IDK about fitment and clearance from the BBK... but damn! That's an appealing configuration. Attractive, understated, and crazy light-weight from a quality manufacturer.

Anyone have any experience with the Forgestar's? I've seen these on the forums and I saw that the F14 - 18's weigh about 18lbs. Just curious if the 19's are similarly lightweight and if the quality is decent. I understand spun forged is not as good as the "real" forged wheels.
Here is the F14s using the crappy tool on the Forgestar website:

They come in 19", which I think is the size you'd have to go with anyway in order to get the offset necessary to clear the BBK.
But you know... the more I look at these rims, the more I'm concluding they look better w/o tires and off the car. Pics of these rims mounted on cars look thin and cheap.
(sigh)
It isn't easy finding a lightweight rim that's also appealing. It's almost like the two objectives are mutually exclusive.

I don't know why it's so hard. So far the Weds SA-55s or SA-67s are the closest I've found to something that fulfills both goals. Even then, I wouldn't say they are my favorite looking wheel.
I just want something lightweight that looks good and doesn't cost a fortune.
I love these, but they aren't that lightweight:

Much to the chagrin of my Audi track-driving friend I'm still considering Forgestar wheels for my g37. The price consideration is pretty substantial vs the Weds SA-55s or SA-67s. They are about 1-2lbs heavier than the Weds though. My friend claims that I will "likely have problems with cracking or bending because they can't stand up to a pothole worth a damn". Of course ModBargains and Forgestar claim that their wheels are just as strong as BBS cast wheels or Enkei's. I can't find too many posts about the wheels cracking or breaking, so that must say something. Here's a quick PShop of what the wheels might look like. (Better than the crappy Forgestar pic) This is 20's, but I will likely have 19's.

Makes sense. They do seem pretty straight up about their weights and testing data. I'm guessing if it wasn't good they probably wouldn't make it readily available for people.
soundmike; did you you have the bronze burst FS's for sale? I talked to someone that did, and while I like the wheel I think the size 19x10 and 19x11's was too wide for what I wanted. I want to go SDC and a 19x11 didn't seem that much heavier, if at all, than a 19x10, but I can't imagine it sitting flush with the rear wheel well.
