Hi,

this is gonna sound like a funny question but I'm about to pick up from the store a new set of winter tires and I was wondering if my G37 coupe has enough room to fit 4 tires in the trunk?

Not all in the trunk but in your car it will. Lower the rear seats, one in trunk, two on lowered back seats, 4th on top of the two in the rear or on passenger seat

No way in the trunk, I couldn't even get my 2 check in suit cases in the trunk at the same time. One had to go in the back seat. The trunks are very small. I think there is more room in the hatch of my Z

Its funny how the coupe trunk often holds more than the sedan. My wife and I have an '08 coupe and an '09 sedan. Anytime we have to go pick up stuff from Ikea we have to take the coupe.

Is that because the seat backs fold down in the coupe?

They really should have made folding seats in the sedan...it does have a large trunk, but there are times when it would be great if the seats folded for longer items.

Okay so I went to the store tonight and I did manage to fit all four tires in the car by following ReddieG37's technique although I gotta say that it was very tight and got me slightly worried about damaging the interior...

I did just this the other day for 20" tires in my sedan.

To the OP. You obviously are asking because you don't have a truck or SUV, but it's a pain putting them in your nice G. If you absolutely have to put them in your G, just be very careful not to hit the tires on your roof liner. You'll have nightmares trying to get tire grease marks off the roof liner.
