Will 245 45 R18 winter tires work?
Tirerack lists 225 50 R18 as the recommended size for winter tires on a 08 S coupe. does anybody know if a 245 45 R18 would work? I know it will fit obviously but will it cause the VDC to have issues?

I recommend going with the narrowest tire that will fit. If a 215 is available in the proper size, it'll be better in the snow than a 245. IIRC, 225/50/18 was the only one available at the time that met the load ratings needed when I got mine. For cold dry conditions, width doesn't play as much a role. Just need to remember not to drive aggressively in the winter (to promote better winter tire life).

yeah I know that the 245 is by no means "ideal" but there is a pretty good deal on a mint pair of blizzaks on the G35 forum, and I am looking at all options for the upcoming winter
