TwoThree, YES!!!! That's the sh*t I was talking about. I knew I remembered seeing someone painted their calipers that color. Didn't you create the DIY sticky or help contribute? After I saw your calipers I painted mine using that sticky. Was super helpful. That color combo is beautiful btw.

looking good twothree..

I personally think painted calipers only look good if your car is dropped and has atleast a slightly aggressive look to it.

You're thinking of Breftayka. I owe my caliper color to him. He was the one to make that DIY you're referring to. He also has a Blue Slate and had some awesome color combo's he had. He ended up selling his car and I don't think he frequents here anymore. One of my idols here though, along with Seraphix. I hope to have my car there one day.

Thanks for the link TwoThree. I've been thinking of something like that for my Amethyst Gray. I bought red caliper paint but I don't think I want to go that route...Gold may just be it! A tiny bit of thread jack....do we need a coat of primer over the BBK to get started?

Two three your car looks great bro good job. I plan on painting my calipers the exact same color once I put my h&r's on the car. I have an IP coupe but I love the way the bronze/goldish caliper looks on white. But i've gotta say on your blue slate it looks amazing, geesh.

SwissCheeseHead - You don't need to lay down primer first. Just make sure to scuff up the calipers with 600 grit or so to give the base coat something to adhere to.

And not to be a complete thread-jacker-enabler.... Hell yes on the gold + blue slate! Other members rocking that combination have some serious sickness going on....
