Poor Experience with Ecsta 4X
Hey just wanted to let you guys know that I needed new tires for my 09G37 Journey nonsport in 225-55r17
On tirerack reviews the Kumho ecsta 4x got good reviews but my experience was totally different.
From the outset there was vibration in the steering wheel & accelerator pedal which I had rebalanced a couple of times. HElped a little but still some shimmy.
The weird part was that the longer the car sat without being driven the tires vibrated more. After 5 or 6 miles it would warm up and decrease. Seems like they were prone to flat spots. Not sure If i got a bad batch or they're all like that. I'm going to exchange them for something else haven't decided yet.

i had kumho ecsta spt summer tires and they did the same thing. I didnt drive my car for a week and the rear tires had a flat patch on then when i started to drive my car. Plus they were super noisy so i got rid of them and got some toyo's. one of the best tires for the price.
