AWD staggered problem

Hey guys. I've done some searching around and found out a few people have the same problem as i do and was wondering if anyone had come up with a fix for it or if anyone knew of any solutions i could try. So im running a staggered setup on my g37 sedan and if i drive about 120+km/h (75+mph) for about 10-20 min my "AWD" light begins flashing. I know if this light comes on it means the AWD system is overheating. so if anyone had any suggestion that would be great. tthnx guys

The current setup im running are
front
KOKO Kuture Lindos 20X8.5 Gold/Mach +35
Falken Tires FK-452 255/35ZR20 97Y
back
KOKO Kuture Lindos 20X10 Gold/Mach +40
Falken Tires FK-452 285/30ZR20 99Y

Is it possible to put the OEM wheels back on? Give that a shot and see if the problem stops. If the problem goes away, it's your tire sizes. The ideal sizes to run for staggered 20s are 245/35 285/30 because they are essentially the same diameter. If the problem persists, it's actually an AWD problem.

Keep us posted if you figured it out. I always read its ok as long as you are within 3% of the overall diameter. Looks like you are within 3% of the stock, and front to rear.

So I actually got the new tires on Friday! I thought I was okay too because I was within 3%. But I switched tires and it actually fixed the problem. I did some highway driving for about two hours and didn't see the light come on at all and it use to come on within 10-20min usually on the highway. My tire guy was even super surprised to hear that Infiniti system was that sensitive. He said that he would run different rolling diameter on Mercedes and bmws and their systems never have the same problem.

Glad to hear you got the issue fixed. Sucks you had to learn through trial and error though!

So did you end up getting 245/35 285/30?

Yup that is the exact setup I ended up getting. Works like a beaut! I'll be ordering coils tmr so keep an eye out in the sedan picture in a couple or few weeks to see the setup! Thanks again guys for the help!

Ya I'm glad that the problem is fixed too! Quite a relief that it was just a rolling diameter and nothing else. Easy fix but a fix that I had to pay for.
