Well, here you go. I ended up getting the 255/275 combo. Starting to think I should have done the 285 instead. I just put the coils on today as well. I need to raise them up a tad once I figure out the best way (that rear spring setup is new to me). I also have the legit Racing Dynamics caps on their way. I'll get better pics later. Either way, I hope you enjoy.

Looks great, pretty slammed, maybe a 1/2" higher
Looks like the 275s fit pretty tight, you think there's another 5mm back there for 285s?

I should be able to get another 5mm once I remove the temporary 5mm spacer that's in there (my OEM studs were a little long for the wheel/adapter). That's the max rear setting for the Megan's but I found a way to raise it just a hair. I was too tired at the end of the day to keep going at it. And I still need to get my camber set and all that jazz. Slowly but surely...

I went with 275s also and starting to think I should have gone wider after seeing some massive 325's on a GTR the other day. with -2* camber like I currently have It looks like i can easily get 295s (at least on the outside clearance) but we'll see after I get the wheels perfectly flat to 0* camber, camber kits arrived yesterday

Not super aggressive, but I love the 285/30/20 Hankooks on my 10.5" rears.

I don't think you want to go zero degrees camber in the rear since that is outside OEM spec. Rear camber should be between -0.75 and -1.75. Zero camber in the rear would have a "negative" effect on handling.

time for new tires i currently running 275/35/19 on a 19x10+30 and it just barely clears by a couple millimeters i wanna go 285/35/19 im currently -1.7 degrees of camber how much more camber do you guys think ill need to push to make it work. its for a sedan btw

Assuming you're going w/ the same brand & model of tires going out another 5mm you'll need camber in the -2.5 range give or take. If you go to a different brand/model tire it could be a fair amount wider/narrower so hard to say
How come you don't want to stay w/ your 275s that currently sound like a perfect fit?

I also have 19x10+30 and 275/35/19 hankook ventus v12 evo2. I'm dropped about 1.2" in the back and I know for sure I can fit 285s without rubbing... currently I'm at -2* camber exact. fwiw I have a coupe though.

...clearance will be tight though.... less than a pen cap.

Apples to oranges really. You have more camber than he does and he has a sedan. If you are saying your clearance would be that close, he would be hitting the fender with the same camber/tire specs. Camber would need to be increased to the 2.5-3 degree neighborhood. It seems like it would make sense to stick with what has been working, especially considering you are in OEM specs for camber and are maximizing tire life.

i guess for braggin rights wanted to go wider. but guess i might just stay 275's tires are gonna be different. right now im running bridgestone potenza re050a horrible treadwear i was gna go continental dw

yeah disregard that then.. when I wrote that I wasn't thinking the sedan had different clearance.
