Can anyone speak for VMR Wheels?

I am looking at wheels and really like a few of VMR's wheels, my one concern is that they are only about $200 a wheel. I mean my mustang wheels were similar in cost and I never had a problem with them, so im really looking to see if anyone has had any experience with VMR wheels specifically the VB3s or V710s.

I would really appreciate anyones opinion both positive and negative. Thanks

I had VMR wheels on my last Audi and they were great. Quality is great and weight is on par with most wheels. They are replica of many popular style wheels, so you will get some flames on this board from the die hard people who are dead set on originals or the Vossen bandwagon. They are nice wheels, but if you don't care or want to pay 3x the amount, then VMR is a great alternative.

I'll chime in here.

I have the the gun metal V710s on my sedan. I was looking for an affordable set that were strong and looked good. This set definitely fit the bill for daily driving. They offer the V710s in nice offsets that were aggressive enough for my sedan and the powder coating on the wheels has a nice even finish. I do believe VMR has a 1 year warranty on the coating of the wheels. Once the wheels were mounted and balanced, there were no wheel vibrations at freeway speeds. There are definitely lighter wheels out there, but for the price I am pleased with this set. We'll see how they hold up...

Thanks for the feedback guys, sounds good to me. Not looking for a pricey set of wheels to beat up on my daily commute so these sounds pretty good then.

Pics? The 710's look like they would suite the sedan well.

My buddy was one of the first few people who got the VMR V710 in the 5x114.3 bolt pattern. The wheels look great and the quality is on point.

Yeah, I like the look of those VMR wheels myself and might have to consider them as well for my sedan. Who has the 710's for $200 a wheel?

After following a bunch of VW and Audi forums over the years, i've found that VMR has established quite a good reputation.

To some extent, you could say VMR is to Euro, what Vossen is to G's.

would also love to know where you found them for $200 per wheel. Cheapest I've seen is $999 with $100 shipping. They look pretty nice.

Call VMR directly. Usually less than distributors like ModBargain, etc...I actually got my VMR for my previous Audi for $175 and no tax because I picked them up and paid cash. They are local to me in S. Cal.

Thanks, might give them a call.

JDMposer, what offsets do you have? Do they clear the Sport brakes?

No weights listed on their site. If I get another set of wheels I am going for function over form... Read: I care more about getting lighter than looking better.
