FINALLY decided on new wheels...what offset do I need?
After going back and forth I've decided on the Concept One RS8 wheels for my car...
The wheels are 20x8.5 up front and 20x10 in the rear. My question is what offsets do I need so that the tires sit flush with the fender? I'm currently running 20mm spacers all around on the stock 18" Journey wheels (non-staggered)...that's exactly how I want the new rims to fit.
Please don't turn this into a "you should get these wheels instead" thread...just need know the offsets I should get.
Thanks in advance for the help

The available offsets listed are:
Front: 18, 30, 38...they recommend 30 or 38
Rear: 20, 38, 42...they recommend 38 or 42
Thoughts?
They also sell them mounted and balanced on tires. The available sizes are...
245/35/20 - 275/30/20
245/35/20 - 285/30/20
255/35/20 - 285/30/20
What tire sizes do you recommend? I want them to fit "correctly"...not looking for the stretched look

What are you dropped on? It really depends a lot on your ride height and the amount of camber you want to run... it's not as easy as your question, honestly. There are a lot of threads and tons of reading to cover on this subject.
With no drop front 30 might be your best bet and rear 38... if you are dropped then that changes everything and you would need to go lower offests but that is where the game starts getting finite...

My car is lowered on eibach pro-kit springs.
Yea I tried doing some research on it, but it made my head hurt lol...so I figured I'd just ask. Is it true that the higher the offset #, the more tucked the wheels will be...or is it the other way around?
With the 30+ and 38+ offset, will the wheels be more tucked than my stock wheels and spacers?

UGH! I guess I can be a more helpful forum member...
Here is back when I first got my wheels and Eibach springs installled and my specs were as follows:
Front: Tires 245/35/20 - 8.5" - 20mm offsets
Rear: Tires 275/30/20 - 10" - 37mm offsets
I then had the rear mounts shaved a bit so it was lower and pushed the offests out to f: 17mm and r: 25mm and ran a little more neg camber:
So in short I would say fron 18mm if you have a drop then and 38mm rear but you may still need the spacers to get the desired look you are going for...

Nice! Your car looks awesome man. What wheels are those?
To get the same stance you had in the first pic (eibachs and new wheels) which of the available offsets would you suggest? 18 up front and 38 in the back? If I can't have it EXACTLY flush like my current wheels are, I'd rather have the tires be slightly more tucked than have them stick out past the fenders.

Yeah, if you were to go 18mm up front and 38mm in the rear you will be basically the same as my setup in the first two pics I posted above.
The wheels are TSW Snettertons... I love them and they are actually decently light weight for 20" wheels (23 lbs front, 24 lbs rear). Completely underated wheels for the price. I have recently upgraded though but will definitely miss these wheels when they are sold... wish I could keep them as a spare set!
Good luck man, I hope I have helped you!
