i had michelin pilot sports on the old G35 and they were total crap. I was having issues with them, mostly due to the extreme softness within 8,000 miles. Michelin is a terrible company for cust service, i spoke with them about the ridiculous wear on them after only 8k miles and all they said was "we dont have any warranty on sport tires, your car is making our tires wear out fast"....they sent me to one of their shops who then proceeded to do alignment on it using the wrong specs. It was total mess.

I will never own another michelin tire.

Since then I ran the Bridgestone Re050's and they were WAY better and lasted literally 2 to 3 times as long.

Yokohama S Drives are the ones im using now and they are perfect. Plenty of grip and the road noise is very minimum.

depends on what youre planning to use them for...

if track its gonna be the RE11s or RS3s
if spirited driving and dailydriving the SuperSports
if daily driving and weather then Continental DWS

Are you not running a staggered fitment? Cause I cannot for the life of me see how your gettting 37k miles out of a 300 AA rated tire in the rear. Hell the Cont DWS are 540 AA and have a 50k warranty /25k for the rear. I am confused.

treadwear rating varies by manufacturers. A 300 rating from Yoko has no direct correlation to Conti's 540 rating.

Understand. Everyone I spoke to said to expect 20-25k out of them on the front and half that in the rear. So just very curious has to how one would have to drive to get 37k miles out of the tires.
