TPMS Question?

Hello there,

I am buying some new rims and tires for my car and I know that once I get the new Rims/tires I will need to put a TPMS on them. I was just wondering if I'd have to buy a new set or are the ones that came on my car reusable. I know I don't NEED them but I'd like to have it installed. Thanks for all the help guys.

this ^, you'll probably have to reset your TPMS though, here's a DIY or you can probably get it done at Discount tire or most better tire shops or your Infiniti dealer. Here's the DIY link~

You can transfer the TPMS to a different set of wheels.
You do not need to reprogram them as long as the new wheels with the TPSM are going back on the same car.

e.g. I transferred my TPMS from the stock wheels to my 20" wheels and no reset was/is required. Just drive the car for a few miles and the dash light will go off.

That's good to know, thank for clarifying
Guess i should have put my sensors in my 20s and found that out, but now I'm numb to that dash light

The stock ones can be used IF the new wheels have enough clearance in the barrel section. If you can't use the predrilled mounting location, you might be able to add another hole on the inside barrel section.
