Wheels done!

Update:
With the bad weather here lately I discovered something pretty neat.

So I re-dipped everything "properly" and then blasted it with high pressure water after about an hour after finishing. The plasti-dip was far smoother and less rough after that. It also had a slightly shinier look to it but not much. It also seems like it sticks better (can't really test that) but it is definitely losing that "dust magnet" look.

Also it was a nice day so I thought I'd take some pics.

P.S. I ordered a grille.

AutoKits V2 CF Diffuser & Fast Intentions Exhausts are next on my list.

Maybe is my monitor but if you are trying to show the wheels they are a little dark....I think you need a flash

btw....is that paint on the ground, did you spray paint them ?

that grill is inexcusible :P
But wheels look good. I would have gone with a powder-coat, personally, if I was going to color-change the stocks, but still looks good!

$40k car and you're too lazy to take off the wheels?

Even bother to mask anything off btw?

Wow.

@Mike - that's plasti dip and I'm not quite sure why it looks like it's on the ground when it really isn't. I had the ground masked off as well since it was an apartment complex. Really weird!

@Plastidip haters - It gives the look I want so you can suck it . I've gotten so many compliments within just a few hours of doing it, can't really bother caring about plasti dip hate.

@Others who assume stuff - Yeah, like I would do something to risk damage to a car I got a graveyard shift to pay for. Believe it or not I spent an hour just masking everything but hey, assumptions are nice too!

@Sam - Not sure if that was a joke or not, but it does stand up to those car washes you're talking about.

I think the plasti dip looks good with that color car. I really like How the trunk badge looks.

1. You should have taken the wheels off....even if it was 1 by 1....to do it.
2. Please take that front billet grill off, you own an Infiniti, not a Honda or Toyota.

@Mattster Thanks. Like I said I'm getting rid of the billet grille....still trying to get an OEM grille. To my surprise not as many people are selling theirs right now. Trying to get one with the emblem as well.

And thanks pauliewalnutzz!
