Plasti-Dip & Water experiment

With the bad weather here lately I discovered something pretty neat.

So I re-dipped everything "properly" and then blasted it with high pressure water after about an hour after finishing. The plasti-dip was far smoother and less rough after that. It also had a slightly shinier look to it but not much. It also seems like it sticks better (can't really test that) but it is definitely losing that "dust magnet" look.

Also it was a nice day so I thought I'd take some pics.

P.S. I ordered a grille.

AutoKits V2 CF Diffuser & Fast Intentions Exhausts are next on my list.

Thanks Mike and MurderedG37S, I keep putting it off but it's starting to get very hot around here so I'll probably get the tint done soon.

I wish plasti-dip had a gloss black, stands up so much better against rock chips than spray paint.

They sell a clear coat called the glossifier.

Personally a fan of the matte look but I ordered a gloss black grille so I might get it to match.
