G12 vs G25 (Volks)

I love both of these wheels. I go back and fourth on which I prefer at any given moment and ultimately have a hell of a time deciding which of the two I like best. In a lot of ways, they are similar but the details make all the difference. Based on this, I've decided to hear what the general consensus here is. Have a look at the images, take the poll and provide your thoughts/opinions in the thread if you like

Pretty similar, but I think I like the G25s a little more.

You can't go wrong with either one. I, like you, go back and forth. I have opened this thread three times already, ready to make a choice on the poll but then I re-think it because I can't decide.

What color is your G?

I don't think it matters which one you get as long as they have the same offsets and design (with exception to number of spokes). The only reason you have a dilemma is because you are comparing the 2 next to each other. If you purchased either, I don't think you'd long for the other.

My vote? The one with the lesser spokes (G25?)

Good luck

My color is blue slate. Not sure I can pull off black so I'm leaning towards the silver variants (formula silver for g12 or mercury silver for g25). In terms of color, I like the formula silver of the g12 more than mercury silver of the g25. (not to say that mercury silver is bad, it's just that formula silver is so good). Unfortunately, the g25 doesn't come in formula silver =/

As an aside, here are the differences as I see them.

- Color Choice
--- G12; Formula Silver, Extreme Silver and in some cases, gloss black
--- G25; Formula Silver w/Black clear and diamond cut lip (looks almost black as shown above) or mercury silver.
- G12 has 12 spokes while g25 has 10
- G25 seems to have slightly more concave than g12
- The g12 is a little more uniform towards the center while the g25 has a web like cut towards the center.
- The spokes on the g25 appear to be slightly thinner.
- G12 is a slight bit more classy while g25 is a slight bit more aggressive (although they both share these attributes they each lean slightly in their respective direction imo).

So...those are the main things I notice. So similar yet so different =)
They are both available in the same offsets. Based on what's offered, I would probably g0 +25 on front and +30 on the rear (9.5 front 10.5 rear).

Im diggin the G25's bro, the look of the 10 spoke appeals to me since a 7 spoke isnt on your list (Look up Vossen CV7) both super clean. gotta ask, do you have a drop? if so how much? going 20's or 19's? makes a lot of difference in whether to go classy or aggressive IMHO.

I'm going with G12's on my G. G25's remind me of the stock spoke pattern.
