Wheels Spacers...how long before re-tightening?

Most of them set their impact guns to 90ft-lbs and go at it like it's Nascar. Not the most "safe by the book" way, but 99.9% no issues.

Re-tightening lugnuts after installing wheel spacers
I've installed 1.75" spacers on a new jeep. Most information and the instructions given are to torque the wheel spacers to the vehicle specifications for wheel torque (mine is 130 ft lbs). Re-torquing is recommended after 100 miles to 120 ft lbs, This will ensure the original torque is not ruined. Wheel spacers are supposed to be installed with the "red" locking compound to help prevent the loosing of the lug nuts (this is the reason for lower re-torquing the second time to prevent disturbing the red locking compound). I have about 200 miles on mine without anymore re-torquing and have not had any issues with any of them. A torque wrench is a necessity - nothing else can do it. By the way, every place I've been to uses a torque wrench.
